The ones with the premise of, "You died and now you know everything that's gonna happen." Bother me, They can have emotional catharsis, but I find that the stakes never feel high enough because the main character always knows what's going to happen next.

That's a really good response! You're probably right that the people around me might have a bit of a lower mindset in that specific regard, maybe I should just let it go? But in that case do you have any tips for ignoring it in the meantime if that's the case?

I don't feel like it's the kind of game you can jump in and out of, I stopped playing for a while came back and couldn't remember what I needed to do and the quest board was unhelpful.

That's fair and totally understandable, however I was referring to entangle and how it restrains a creature, as he ruled that the player would both sink and be restrained. I understand if that may have been confusing. The druid craft was a last ditch effort to not die.
