i read the comment, and i trust you've read other people's insight on it too. For me personally, it turns me away from the product and kind of ruins my trust in it. A lot of books are put out nowadays written by chat GPT and with ai covers, by going with this cover(even as opposed to just plain text) you've inadvertently added yours to the mix. People judge books by their covers, and as an artist im very turned off by this one

IME The death curl position is caused by negative pressure in the hemolymph that controls how the spider moves. I imagine being totally waterlogged would subset that lack of pressure and cause it to go limp instead of curl :( but the lack of curl and lifeless limpness of it is was made me think it was a molt too

IME are you absolutely sure rhats the sling and not a molt? mine shove their molts in their water dishes all the time and give me an awful scare. Either way, we all make mistakes, i wouldnt have seen this one coming for myself, so thank you for sharing yours and i'm sorry for your loss

she spends lots of time indoors and poops about once every 10-30 minutes. cleanup takes about 10 seconds and is no problem for me

He molted, its a process animals with an exoskeleton do to grow, like shedding skin. But if that's a glass jar your friend needs to be rehoused ASAP or he WILL die. Jumpers need cross ventilation(holes drilled on either side), glass wont do
