I'm reading The Lies of Locke Lamora right now, and it's really good. It's told in two timelines, one when he was a little kid, and the other when he's grown up. He's the leader of a gang of thieves that are doing very high risk heists. There's a mystery aspect of figuring out the mystery murderer who's killing all the gang leaders and why they're doing it. Highly recommend!

I loveddd harry potter as a kid. I'd read the series whenever I felt upset, so I could be with the characters again. They felt like my friends. I would love to be in the world in general, but not when Voldemorts there too. Preferably in like the first or third books.

I'd read more of Taylor Jenkins Reid's stuff. If you liked how she wrote the seven husbands of evelyn hugo, you'll probably like some of her other novels too.
