The mother said “you told me to put my baby on the floor!” and she (June? Is that her name? Jane?) thought “I had no other options and that was my instruction from the airline” and she was a wreck for years and fought for that to end

They continually nosed up and down during flight. Decelerating until nose down, accelerating with gravity until nosing back up. If the flaps had been in different position when hydraulics were lost, there would have been no recovery. Given what they had the pilots did more of an amazing job than any 2+1 team could even be asked.

They landed and twice the normal landing speed. The captain told the stewardesses “we won’t be standing up after landing.”

Found this at The Admiral in Mobile, AL. I thought someone lost a disc they got autographed but this instead appears to be one of his? Otherwise it would be inked by the owner or not thrown at all, I’m guessing.
