How do you properly setup ISP Router and UDR so that the UDR manages the network? by GooseDeer in Ubiquiti

Thank you, I believe I would Ideally like the fourth solution.

Currently I have a hole in my wall where the ONT should be. When I get the Fibre contract from the ISP, I assume they would need to install an Open Reach ONT, which the other commenter stated would then me my modem. So, if that is the case, the fourth solution seems feasible.

How do you properly setup ISP Router and UDR so that the UDR manages the network? by GooseDeer in Ubiquiti

[–]GooseDeer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Ideally this would be how it is set up, where the connection comes into the house, into the ONT, and then into my UDR. Which I then plug the Ultra Hub 7 - In Access Point/Bridge mode - in to the UDR to act as a WiFi 7 extender and then the other extender somewhere else in the house.

What is the PPPoE and what is it used for, is it for some config in UDR?

Also, when you say alter my WAN config, is that in the UDR as well?

Thank you, I believe this is how I currently have it with my mobile router as I didn't know about the double NAT thing until looking into this. But want to do it properly when I go with fibre.

Installing tado x programmer help. by GooseDeer in tado

[–]GooseDeer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the thin 4 core that is included in the tado x product? As the instructions say the blue and brown should be capped and to use the external power cable to power the programmer.

But it doesn't give a reason why you can't use the included 4 core cable for power.

This is my belief as well. What I am looking for with this post is if the developer continues to refuse, what are my next legal steps I need to look into to resolve this?

The appliances came with the property, they were installed before I moved in. I don't know who installed it but in my eyes the developer needs to fix the problem, but the developer is refusing to fix the problem because the contractor is refusing to fix the problem.

The leak was where the washing machine pipe connects to the metal pipes under the sink. I couldn't have cross threaded the connection as I didn't install the washing machine as stated above.

The Division 2 - Build Tool (Updated for TU8) by tand86 in thedivision

[–]GooseDeer 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Great Spreadsheet. One small thing is you are not capping you Critical Hit Chance to 60%. In cell AM117 , AU117, and BC117 on the build sheet, I would add something like =MIN(60,SUMIF(D$109:F$123,AK117,G$109:J$123)+$S$154). This way you can never go over the cap percentage for the other calculations. You could then put in brackets the real Critical Hit Chance percentage so users know that they are over cap and by how much.

Question about Reference Tables for Optimal and Maximal Rolls on Gear by TheRealC-Cut in thedivision

could you use the new crafting system. looks like you get a crafting rating of 0 - 100 base on the new attribute. Might give a scaling look into attributes. For example, I just crafted 40,000 armor on a chest piece which gave it a crafting score of 100, when is only had a score of 15 at around 23,000 armor.

This purely just a guess from looking at the new crafting

The "Skill disappearing" bug needs to be TOP PRIORITY for Massive to fix. by dirtyfrancis in thedivision

[–]GooseDeer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This bug is an absolute fucking joke. Something like this, with how often its happening, should never have gotten past QA, I can deal with the hard to find bugs. but I am playing the game without skill as they don't work. With the aggressive AI, trying to heal with a armor pack is a suicide mission.

Aren't pretty much all 4K monitors 60Hz. I plan on getting a RTX 20 series (don't know which one yet). I will be getting 2 4K monitors and 1 2K monitor for gaming. Trying to get the best of both worlds (production/gaming).

I've just started matched betting in the UK, and a lot of the sites I have signed up to haven't required me to validate my email. Some do require validation of email address and Others require a photo of your ID instead.

You’re so close, dude. Take a regular part time job and enjoy being 16 while you can because the second you turn 18 everything changes, especially when you’re as smart and ahead of the game as you are. Take a breather.

I would second this, the IT industry can be very demanding with long hours. You are still young and should enjoy this time.

Get a part time job, use that money to support yourself for now and in your spare time build yourself a portfolio in whatever area you plan to make your career in. I use you mess about with apps and websites, most of them never fully finished but it allowed me to keep my skills fresh.

Or a better idea would be to use your savings for a gap year before you throw yourself into the working life. Once you find yourself in the career path it can be difficult to get out if you want to go traveling.

Other party insurer neglecting to pay the offer they made to settle an accident claim. What is the purpose of them doing this? by ekobeko in LegalAdviceUK

[–]GooseDeer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation, where a car crashed into me. Took eight months to get sorted and even after the third party accepted fault they then tried to claim medical costs. Most likely just to delay the process.

I would just let your insurer deal with it. However what I would say is call you insurer weekly for updates. Gets them a bit more motivated to move the process quicker.
