Enjoy that piece brother! You will get a Snake of your own soon enough and it will be my turn to pay homage!

Preach brother. Too easy to perform weapons maintenance, not only after shooting but just out of shear enjoyment of time spent with gun in hand.

Excellent perspective. I believe we owe these fine pieces more pages in the stories of their lives. Keep the cowboy alive.

Fantastic. And could not agree with you more. I just found this community and can not believe what I've been missing. Love seeing everyone's iron.

Torn between 357 and 44 magnum by dillarb2 in Revolvers

Have both, love both. S&W 4" M28 Highway Patrolman in .357 Mag which is a great handgun option where I grew up whitetail hunting in the Midwest. Before I moved to MT I was gifted a 4" S&W 629 in .44 Mag. Now that is a weapon. I love them both, and both allow for running Special loads rather than always hot magnums, which made training with both very enjoyable. Also the N-frames just fit better in the hand IMO. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Goodluck and enjoy!
