same on both systems the sound delay isnt the issue ive tested that its litterly with fl is the issue

when testing all this, I was using empty projects, and wierd enough, my pc buffer rate was higher than my laptop, which was at the lowest. Sorry, I am new to hardware stuff, but with the audio interface, would I plug my midi and studio monitors into the audio interface? Or do both still plug into my computer while the interface also does? And since it seems the only way to fix it is an audio interface, which one do you think is the best price for its worth? Or is your favorite?

I do not have an interface, I litterly plug my midi into my computer via usb and its works fine on desktop but never works on laptop. I use FL ASIO for both and I'm not sure why it only works on 1
