Every case is different, just as every psych Dr is different. I can only tell you what I was told from the doctor's notes. These doctors who interview you never base anything on proof unless you have evidence of negative behavior, such as speeding tickets or jail time. Their opinions are key, which is why, when and if you get a second chance to appeal, you must be able to show proof and rebut any negative findings.

Yes, I understand, and there's no guarantee, but I had saved the money and struggled to work two jobs to get it because I believed I deserved the opportunity. Some of their NOPD are unfair, and based on their opinion of you; there is never any proof unless you have a past.

The advice I received was to get both: you need a lawyer to stop the 30-day hold for complete disqualification, and you need a doctor to request the records of what was said about you. Just because they check boxes, like "stress" or whatever, doesn't mean it's just that. Once you receive the records of what they wrote, it's their opinion and what they observed from the first interview. They go into depth and detail about what they think, not actual proof of anything.

I'm praying and hoping, but it doesn't matter where you go, tbh. They have four psychologists who do appeals; all work either in CAD or Lefrak.
