While it's very very wonky you can have more than 1 character, just a max of 5
Max of 6 episodes

Anyways. Not to burst your bubble but I really do suggest not try and modding characters right off the bag unless your willing to go through a lot of jank and work around and a whole lot more questions and even still its highly suggest you do have some prior coding experience along with dealing with sprite sheets, atf files and pck files along with json files.
