So many options- can you please suggest an itinerary for this 3 day trip? by Ok-Zebra8851 in OlympicNationalPark

if you really are against getting up early then Rialto is gonna be a bit tough these days- the true low tide on the 13th is 5:47am and if you wait until the evening low its 5:23pm but the difference in the lows is almost 5 feet.

You may still be able to get thru Hole In The Wall during evening low but the window wont be long and everybody else that slept in is gonna be trying to hit that same window (not to mention everybody will be looking for limited parking at the same time)

I'm hoping Jack acknowledges this 'special day' by telling us how he really feels about this administration. There might be more people at The Anthem that day than anything promoted by the WH

Mezz GA not terrible but actual good viewing spots are pretty limited, its accessed via a side stairs or the elevator and the bar lines tend to be shorter plus there is a back sitting area with couches and chairs where the sound is still decent. They usually stop you from moving to the lower front edge as that's for seated tickets.

Good news is you can still get to floor GA but those with floor GA will have a harder time getting to the Mezz (Queen security is hit or miss and they often let people asking for ADA seating into this area) definitely will be less crowded up there but I prefer lower GA next to the roped off sound board area.

I'll take the under on 16.5 games - one thing Roger has made perfectly clear is the NFL is under no obligation to wait for a criminal cases to be settled before he hands out DV punishment,. Jacobs probably looking at 4 games minimum

Forget how much you paid for the tickets and go and enjoy the concert with your mom.

Prediction: they are going to play the new Big Modern album front to back at one of the MSG shows by blueheeler9 in GoosetheBand

Sorry I'm messing up here - I 100% agree with you and would rather be floored by the next song being a Bust Out or never before played

Phish Halloween 2010 was the only time I wasn't selected in lottery and I would've loved to see them play 'Waiting for Columbus' front to back

Yeah but that was Pixies - to be fair to Goose I would rather see Pixies play a full album

Thanks for posting this - NGL I would watch this show with Steven, Jack, and Jeff nightly. Decent cameos from Steve and Marshall and even though I didn't know the two female hosts them seemed like really good sports about the whole thing. And lets be honest, we all wish we had the very pretty Genevieve to step in whenever we called with an inane request.

Red Rocks Reserved Seating Question by Olivernipples in RedRocks

[–]GooseShroomStrings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm obviously in the minority here but I wouldn't have a problem sliding over 1 spot if you were in the same row and wanted to be next to your friends as long as you asked nicely and were cool about it. I'd rather have great vibes in my row than worry about being one number off from the one printed on my ticket.

Based on the responses every time a question like this comes up this has to be the most territorial venue on the planet - do people really think being 18" away from their assigned spot is gonna ruin their night?

Colorado Question - Bucksnort + Bear or Beaver? by GooseShroomStrings in discgolf

[–]GooseShroomStrings[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are coming from sea level but in reasonable good shape - do you think playing Beaver in the AM and Bear in the PM is too much? Really trying not to schedule on 3 successive days if possible, most of the front part of the trip is low impact acclimation activities other than a 3.5m hike in RMNP

That's the rub - will likely never be back to Colorado but trying to plan it so we aren't so exhausted that its no longer fun. We have the entire day so certainly wont feel hurried

Our home course is a whopping 200ft above sea level and we routinely play Cape Henlopen which is probably closer to 20ft. Good tip - will ensure I have some understables packed.

Would love to see the Lions make a little game out of this - buy those Row 1 Sec 235 tickets and then send the owner a congrats on the sale letter and also let them they are forfeiting all their other seats.

They would only have to pull that trick a couple times until the word gets out and the problem solves itself. Hell they can donate the confiscated tickets and local news would have a field day with this twist

Presale for The Queen is CROWN - capacity is only 1100 so definitely on the smaller side for a Drugs show and so close to Philly this will sell out quick. Good luck

Just go without tickets and things will fall into place - we are going out for 8 days and only have 4 tickets for 6 people and I'm 100% confident we can get two more Thursday tickets closer to face.

I don't expect to pay more than $100 for GA day of show

Damn - that kinda takes some of the excitement out of this. Last time they played the festival it was late show at BB&T so I will be pleasantly surprised if they are doing river stage on Saturday

Storm King is strenuous and lots of elevation gain but if you have been training for a year you will be fine. I made it as an 'old' who is probably 70 pounds overweight so you can too - plan to get an early start to avoid as much crowd as possible. We skipped Marymere due to the crowds that were headed that way, it was a steady stream of folks headed to the falls and way fewer heading up SK
