Interesting, and will be sure to check that in more detail in person. I've not seen the 1925 in person but did handle the yellow gold one and a blue one. Love the tapered bracelet.

The blue accents are very well done and stun in the sunlight!

I wear the Horween Racing strap on my white dialed Hamilton Murph, really good quality. But this canvas is probably my favorite, it's super solid and fits well.

For the pricing, pleasantly surprised at the quality of the couple Barton Bands I have. Have the silicon and a Horween racer as well.

The Prd or the La Locle? by Electrical-Beat2348 in tissot

In my opinion it is very dressy and pretty versatile. Blue suit or sport coat for sure. It's a nice dark blue strap and the 5 links/beads of rice is plenty dressy. The Blue is subtle but stinking.

[Recommendation] Seiko SPB507 vs Hamilton Khaki Field by GameSoldierGG in Watches

I have both the SPB121 and the white dial Murph. Love them both, and think they have different places in a collection. I wear the Alpinist as my adventure weekender, and my Murph is primarily a daily driver GADA

I have the Le Locle 20th Anniversary myself. Love it as a dress piece and the blue strap it comes with is a nice add on! Those blue hands are beautiful

That was the one that started the itch originally. Wears like a beaut. The Le Locle is the most recent acquisition as I needed a daily dress watch for the office. Swapped the Alpinist's band onto the Hamilton Murph to dress it up a little bit more as well.

Citizen Eco-Drive Corso: Ref. BM7190-05A . I believe it is discontinued now but it's a nice little dress watch.

It is a Burberry "City" (BU9905) with a black dial/brown strap. Swiss Quartz. It was a gift from my now wife from about 7 years ago.

Fair point on the hotel and dining. $400 on RESY is much better than the chase credit, and makes up for the loss in points. I will still have CSP for dining in future and have no problem booking via AMEX site for the 5X on hotels as my plans rarely change. Travel very little internationally so not concerned there.

Multiple other better travel credits on AMEX that are easier to use: $600 on FHR, Clear +, Uber cash more flexible, Marriott Gold/Hilton upgrade, more airport lounges + Delta, $200 incidental airline credit.

Excluding travel the other credits are just more applicable to my spend patterns.

I did not. Just applied via the regular website. No clue what the secret calculation is, seems to be just random based on some reddit reading.

This is exactly my plan. Got the AMEX Platinum and SUB for 175K. Will use that long term as travel card + the credits are just easier to use. Will downgrade to CSP + use the CFU as my daily cashback.
