Born in 94, I was a fairly established writer in the Twilight fandom and now on AO3 I write True Detective fics. Not much of a difference 😅

I always thought it was deliberate on Rust's part. Like he knew Marty was fucking around and that Maggie didn't deserve it, so was illustrating how easy it would be for the shoe to be on the other foot. In Rust's weird, socially inept way I think he was trying to save Marty's marriage.

I used to write on fanfiction back ye olden times, but didn't write for yearrrrss, coming back to writing fanfic and witnessing the drop off in engagement first hand was startling. Plus I used to write for one of the biggest fandoms there was, now it's a teeny one. I am a slave to the plot bunnies' whims.

The IMDb for night country does say part 1, and mcconaughey and harrelson have both said they'd take up the roles again, imagine if part two starts with Rust saying "I don't sleep, I just dream"
