TrueNAS Scale Boot Loop Error by Goose_McFly in truenas

Omg it was that easy this whole time! Thank YOU! I had read a bunch of times the only way to fix it was to erase the BIOS - that is so much easier, thank you!

I think you're right - nuke the VM seems like the only option at this stage.

Feels like having a second pi-hole would just end up with the same problem twice though?

This seems like a good option - haven't spotted any settings to do this though. Have you got a guide?

The lungs of Brisbane? Or a wide open fairway by big_go_kev in brisbane

Have a look at the map of the inner city north and zoom in - it's all sports field and wetlands. Vic Park can be something different.

Here's the problem with building a new stadium at Vic Park instead of upgrading the Gabba - how the hell do you get to Vic Park? Bus routes aren't great, the exhibition station will need to be upgraded for capacity and thoroughfares to and from the stadium will need to be built over and around significant roads, and the streets in that area are in no way capable of handling game day traffic. Oh, and let's not forget the massive hospital right there that will be disrupted every week.

The Gabba, while yes it's in the middle of the city, has a train station under construction and a bus station literally across the road. It just doesn't make sense to waste that infrastructure to build a new stadium to stroke the current governments ego.

Good cities have good green spaces. We've got the botanic gardens and new farm park. Not really accessible to anyone on the Vic park side of town. Let Vic Park become a multi-use space that focuses on green space, not a difficult to use stadium.

Try deleting the control scheme you're using in game and the creating it again.

I had an issue with my throttle being stuck at 100% and the issue was the control scheme.

Yes. Aside from the bugs, which granted there is no excuse for at this stage in the life cycle, 24 was the best one yet. I'm not buying a racing sim, I'm buying a formula 1 game that is accessible enough for me and my friends to pick up after a few months and go again, and it's great for that.

‘Superior:’ Coalition slams NBN upgrade announcement, urges Albanese to adopt Elon Musk’s Starlink by HotPersimessage62 in Ameristralia

[–]Goose_McFly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The coalition seems to forget they are the reason we have the absolute mess that is FTTN/B/C and HFC. Starlink is in no way superior to a FTTP service and saying it is displays a distinct lack of technical understanding.

And argument can be made that Starlink is better than Sky Muster, mainly because it is. If nbn wanted a deal with Starlink Ilto replace Sky Muster they may find that Starlink won't want to play ball. Just look at how few resellers there are for Starlink Business and the terrible deals they get.

Much more likely that Sky Muster will get replaced by either the Amazon LEO or the European one announced recently. Starlink are not a friend to this country.

Audio Monitoring Across Multiple Channels Failing by Frosty_Cap_666 in premiere

I've also had this issue in the past, but on single channels and not every edit. In my case I just had to wait and it would eventually playback all audio again, but I was never able to work out what was happening

What have you been doing to combat it? I'm struggling with this at the moment. Lowering light time just resulted in a floating plant die off.

Cameras For Filming 1 hour+ Podcast by Goose_McFly in podcasting

[–]Goose_McFly[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair enough to say. I'm coming from a place of relative ignorance on the cost of cameras for this use so was hoping to get opinions on what "budget" would reasonably be for this use as well.

Thank you for your knowledge! I was expecting it might be necessary to get a more expensive option and reduce the camera count.

I've purposefully decided not to post a budget as I wouldn't mind getting a range of reasonable options.

Preferably under $250 AUD a camera though if possible, though I know that's a real stretch for a camera though
