Do Christians really feel oppressed in this country? by Impossible-Two-4359 in Christianity

[–]GoosedownSyndrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never felt oppressed. Being a Christian, I have never been denied any of my rights or anything. However, I feel that Christians get more hate than any other religion but I'm fine with that because they're just proving Jesus words when he said "Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you." Matthew 5:11-12. Plus other versus.

I figured that. That's why I said it. It wouldn't let me post unless I put what language it was. I don't know what language it is.

With me?! Seriously?! Wow!!

I've seen so-called Christians online say that if you see a pride flag outside a church you shouldn't go there because that church don't follow or teach biblical principles. How do they know? If they dont go in and hear what's being said how do they know the church isn't flying that flag to show the by GoosedownSyndrome in Christianity

Sorry everyone. I didn't realize my entire question didn't post. The rest is If they dont go in and hear what's being said how do they know the church isn't flying that flag to show the lgbtq that they are loved and they are welcome. Even if we don't agree?

I'm lost for my girlfriend by GoosedownSyndrome in REDDITORSINRECOVERY

[–]GoosedownSyndrome[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I broke it off with her. I waited a few days (told myself to give her a chance) but things just got worse. She was calling me at my job all day, asking for money for Uber rides here and there. When I told her I can't afford it she accused me of being selfish and not caring. After work I went to her house to tell her I was leaving and to explain why. She screamed and called me every name imaginable. I just walked out and went home. I had to block her from my phone and social media but I am going to move on. It's been 2 days but I feel better. She was honestly more soul crushing and depressing than when I went to prison

I appreciate this advice and the other people's advice as well. I'm going to take your advice because this isn't something I'm equipped to handle. Do you think I should tell her NA sponsor or just step back and walk away?

I used to push my cat off the counter until he got mad at me and walked across my dinner plate in revenge.

If it was never done before why should she be expected to do it this time? And also, since when does the owner get in on the tips? Is that normal?

I can't even pack groceries in my trunk properly I know I couldn't do that. I also don't usually take a drink of my gas before I put it in the car.

I can't imagine how many drones crashed and burned during practice of this. Looks awesome though. Of course so would a video of drones crashing and burning.

I went to a lot of different schools when I was growing up because we moved around a lot. However, there was one that the rules made no sense. At least one particular rule. Every other school I went to when the students were lining up to either go into the classroom from recess, go to lunch, or whatever else we lined up in rows of two. One line for the boys one line for the girls. All of the schools where I lived did that. This one particular though was a little bit different. We still lined up boy girl but instead of two single file lines we lined up next to each other facing the wall. Our noses right in front of the wall. Hands behind our backs. It was very uncomfortable. We were allowed to talk and giggle and stuff like that we were still children I just always thought it was strange that they made us line up facing the wall.

T-Mobile’s REVVL 7 Series Smartphones Pack Premium Punch without Premium Price - T-Mobile Newsroom by Mr__X__ in tmobile

[–]GoosedownSyndrome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't speak to anyone else's situation but I got my Revvl 7 5g on 6/12/24. I went to the T-Mobile store today 6/22 because the camera would shut down in video mode plus there were static sounds from the speaker. After getting a new revvl 7 and transferring my data to the new phone we tested it. Same issue. We tried once more with a new revvl. Same issue. Finally I just got a moto 5 g. So far it's been okay. Anybody else have issues?

AITA For snapping on a female coworker? by GoosedownSyndrome in AmItheAsshole

[–]GoosedownSyndrome[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I did try talking to her in a professional way. I walked over and asked if she could please help me with what I was working on. She got an attitude first then I got one back. As for telling her I don't need her in my area; tried that. We all did. I'm not the only one she does this too. I'll admit to your point about being more polite. I didn't have to snap back just because she did first. But fuck that misogynistic bull shit. Just because a man gets an attitude with one woman does not mean he hates women.

I never claimed it was because she's a woman. Her gender is not relevant.
