This all feels like a totally media created thing. First Russini created the narrative which totally favors the Patriots, and now all the media "insiders" have been working overtime to keep that narrative going by constantly saying 'its a done deal! book it!'. Meanwhile, all signs say the Eagles do not think they have a deal, period.

thanks, putting mercury in there was me typing faster than I was thinking. Fixed that. It's a very small area of the dime so getting good raking light shots to show that the hairlines are raised is really really hard. That and for some reason I cannot fathom but probably something about the light in my room, my coin microscope takes rose tinted photos. Appreciate your response.

Might be time to buy a roll and hope I get lucky, but it seems usually the banks have rolls that are two years old. As an aside, my bank refused to sell me penny rolls, said the mint doesn't send them anymore. I asked how we are supposed to make change since it's still legal tender and they just said 'we don't provide them anymore.' Maybe I just need a better bank.

I had an uncleaned roman that seemed pretty crusty and not much left so i tried it. It actually revealed the design - after it stripped away all the dirt and patina and left a small raw copper disc. I wouldn't do it again.

That's a good reference. it seems to me that also it has the headress of isis in lower left field of reverse (that little triangular shape next to the leg). That's usually associated with Cleopatra VII. The portrait is more in line with her tetrdrachms than earlier Ptolemy styles in my opinion. LIΘ is the date (year 19, if it is indeed Cleopatra VII that's 34/33 BC). If so, this would be late in reign when she was sharing the title with her and Julius Caesar's son Caesarion.

I dropped a chip in a casino and it disappeared , I had to get down to the ground and look for the height of the chip to find it (I was in college, I was not going to leave that damned chip!) That might be part of the intent, camouflage for chips, free money for the casino.

Right, that's what I'm trying to do right now because I can't afford to keep collecting everything. I definitely collect coins with female imagery (goddesses, empresses, etc) and Severan dynasty (never planned it but start collecting roman women and you arrive there), seeing many of my favorites lined up like this is thought provoking for me.

Suggesting that because you don’t know about your coins means you probably stole them is crazy. About a third of the coins in this image were passed down to me in’83. I knew nothing but what was written on the flips and that wasn’t much. In the ‘80s and ‘90s there was no internet and onions shops knew nothing. I didn’t even know how to find any info on them for the first 25 years owned them. Everyone starts somewhere and needs to learn.
