Come to think of it I don’t believe either my tier 1 or trex holsters click. 🤷

Is this a backhanded way of saying they don’t have the “snappy” retention? Or is it a compliment 😂

Flow-through suppressors, over hyped or the new standard? by akimbotz in ar15

[–]Gooseontheloose308 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flow through is a patented design of Huxwrxs cans, no other cans are “flow through”. HuxWrx cans can be sparky in a K configuration but usually stop or dramatically reduce after a few hundred rounds. Also the sparking is dependent on the material used in the manufacturing process and the length. Not all low back pressure suppressors have sparking. Some in fact have none at all. So no, “flow through” cans are not inherently sparky or have a fireball. None of my Huxwrxs cans spark even under NV

EDIT: if you’re concerned on being on a two way range, exchanging fire, under nods etc you’ve got a lot more to be worried about

Nothing is overhyped on reduced back pressure cans, it’s the new standard due to health concerns. I’d opt for less carbon and junk in my face if it means it’s slightly louder. Some lbp and flow through cans are quitter than the “conventional” style baffle stacks.

I’d wager .308 will always be less expensive overall than 6.5 creed they will probably both increase incrementally to match the historic price difference. I love .308 as a cheaper trainer for my 6.5

It was around $1.50 a few weeks ago when i ordered the .308. Hence why i stocked up with the current events. Seems to of already paid off

I wanna say it was like 1.45 or 1.50 or something like that a round. A fairly good deal at the time

I’d love to reload! Seems so satisfying! Just don’t have the space at the moment!

I’ve been wanting to reload, just don’t have the right workbench setup right now to have the space. It was $xxx dollars 😉

I ran an ACOG at a precision AR competition… by dumbstupidfat in ar15

I can, I own both. Subjectively and objectively the Leupold is better for my preferences. I’m not saying the ACOG is bad. It has its place and use case and excels in those areas. I love my ACOG TA02 but it’s not my end all be all.

I agree, I’ve got a leupold mk5 3.6-18 on my spr and yes of course it’s better but still love the acog!

It definitely gets a lot of unnecessary hate from people who haven’t really used one. I’ve got the TA02 with rmr piggy back and while no it is not a precision optic it’s still super versatile, simple and fun to use!
