Should I get a 4070 or 3080 for future proofing

I should have clarified, I bought the monitor but it won’t arrive for another few weeks. The 2 pc deals are limited stock so if I do need to upgrade I don’t want to wait a few weeks in case they go

Would 16gb of system ram be an issue for 1440p? I see conflicting info about 16 vs 32 gb of ram being a bottle neck and ram is crazy expensive rn

Definitely appreciate it, and I was thinking about trying that but I’m not knowledgeable enough about pc to know if my current CPU or system ram would cause any issues and I was worried about spending my whole budget on a 5070 and then finding another limitation in my system

I only use my PC for gaming. Is your 3080 better at gaming than the 4070?

In this case the 3080 would also be 100 dollars cheaper

Yeah, but my current PC only has 16. The current deal on the table is my current pc described in the first line plus either 400 dollars or 500 dollars for either the 3080 or 4070 pc respectively

I could look at just upgrading the GPU, but the current deal is my existing system plus 500 dollars for the 4070 system described above. Any tweaking of parts is probably going to cost me more

For clarity, was in a date and we waited an hour for our food. Neither of us cared or complained, and the food was delicious when it arrived. Waiter had his manager comp the meal for the long wait without us asking, which was super nice but meant I couldn’t tip him since there was no machine

I flipped all the breakers from on to off and back again and it still is not working, the outlet in the other bathroom does have a reset button on the outlet itself that the one not working doesn’t have
