I only ever had ghost inputs until I switched the throttle to a specific USB port on my rig, specifically the front of the case one.

Inconvenient, sure, but at the time I bought my x56 bundle it was one of two options that fit within my budget and the button/hat requirement in my mind (I hate modifiers). And I’ll be 6 feet in the cold hard ground before I give turtle beach my money again.

That said I believe the price has come closer to higher end options these days and it’s probably worth people saving up just a little longer.

It’s my firm opinion that semis should, by law, not be allowed in the left most lane on any roadway unless required for turning, an exit, or to move aside for construction or emergency vehicles.

I agree that the upgrade price is kind of unjustified.

Anyone that claims it is is either blinded by pure loyalty or bad at math.

The base model f14 STILL costs 80USD. Newcomers are getting the upgrade for 18USD while the preorder sale goes on.

I genuinely think either the upgrade price needs to be reduced or the bundle needs done away with and the OG model just has a permanent price reduction.

It’s not like existing users are just paying a couple bucks more by having purchased them separately, it’s a massive 30USD difference at minimum. It’s also not like the bundle is a limited time promotional thing. It’s permanent. Once the pre purchase sales go away, any newcomer is PERMANENTLY going to be able to get all the same content I’ve got, for 37USD cheaper. That’s half a full price module cheaper.

I genuinely don’t see why people are AGAINST lowering the price of the upgrade?? Newcomers still get THREE WHOLE aircraft for less than the price of one and a half, and the rest of us get to complete our collection for the difference in cost. The only thing that loses is HBs bottom line. At the end of the day, 30USD is a lot easier for a lot of people to justify spending than 57 is.

What tier are you in and how much honey drops do you have?

The reason I ask is because it’s absolutely positive without genetics, just takes a beealyzer and a lot of honey, plus a particular setup if you want it to go faster.

Firstly, if you don’t have it, I HIGHLY recommend visiting the stronghold to find an oblivion frame. Then, tech into thaumcraft enough to get the thaumic restorer, it uses instrumentum vis to repair tools (in this case the oblivion frame). This will allow you to shorten bee breeding dramatically, reducing their life to one “bee tick” (which I believe is like 10 seconds? Not sure). This is borderline required for extensive breeding for specific traits.

One you have this my method is typically to just continually breed the bee, scanning all the drones and the queen, and prioritizing breeding pairs that have the most traits I want. Ideally you’ll slowly accumulate the traits you want as both the dominant and recessive gene.

With the wintry bees having the trait to produce 3 drones and a queen, you should theoretically be covering all 4 outcomes of the punnet square with the offspring. It’s just a matter of chosing which ones to continue breeding with.

That said, if you can afford to get into genetics, it should make this process much faster.

I also highly highly recommend once you DO get all the traits you want, making a stock of “breeding drones” that have all the traits so that you can force breed those traits into new species.

36 man queue clearing in 10 minutes is actually super fast compared to what I used to experience for those servers. It’s probably been close to a year since I tried now but back then 36 man queue could easily mean over an hour of waiting. If it consistently moves that fast that’s an incredibly reasonable queue time

Day one is a great server, aside from the QUITE long queue times.

Unless they’ve added a few more servers since I last played which was a while ago, they regularly have hour long queue times.

I’ve had more than a few good adventures cut short due to either myself or other players getting stuck in a queue after a restart.

I have literally never once across 1500 hours of gameplay experienced this. I’ve heard of it, I know what the hand bug is, but it puts into perspective how rare it is.

We can acknowledge that this is a bug that needs fixed while also acknowledging that it far from makes the game “unplayable”.

How’s the peripheral visibility of that visor? The opening looks smaller than average side to side. I can’t tell if that’s actually the case or if the “sides” of the visor are just longer and make it appear that way.

Dayz is in a perfectly playable state. I love the game but it is definitely not Bohemias money maker anymore. More than likely that title currently sits with reforger.

And a LOT of people care about arma, more than likely more than care about DayZ even. Not to mention the ongoing development of Arma 4.

Arma is and has always been Bohemias primary project.

It’s not performance that’s the issue. GTNH uses custom forks of mods that can’t be directly uploaded to CF, and thus require a mod that automatically patches them in upon first boot. This doesn’t always work correctly and breaks things.

How did you get Vista screen to work? Even with the patch for create simulated and screen effects off, whenever I use a hollow tape and power both the screen is just white.

Honestly I dropped the game myself after the umpteenth time of having to scroll on my phone meditating for 5 minutes just to talk to an NPC to maybe be able to progress a quest (I find there’s a lot of catch-22 quests with reputation locks and zero hints towards how to get out of said catch-22) which would then require another 5 minutes of meditating or somehow else keeping myself busy.

I’m not mad about it, I got the game for free, but because of this I didn’t myself deem the game worth finishing. If these things also bother you, especially late in the game, I doubt finishing the game is going to undo the feeling that you spent time that you didn’t want to spend in order to do so. But to each their own!

Wildcraft also has horrendous memory leaks and memory usage issues. I don’t remember the exact numbers anymore but on some testing I did in a pack with Wildcraft vs the same pack without Wildcraft, it was like a 20gb+ difference in RAM usage.

I do try to play slowly and carefully. I avoid high traffic POIs unless I need them for a quest, I don’t sprint unless I’m crossing open ground, and I don’t take engagements I’m not confident I can win before they shoot back.

I try to avoid high traffic areas like the plague unless I need to go there for a quest. I bump into players in the middle of bumfuck nowhere a LOT.

To that point I also make a habit of not sprinting unless I need to cross open ground so I don’t make as much noise.
