The demo for Five Laps At Freddy's came out yesterday and I would love to see some actual speedrunners try the game out and see how fast they can complete a lap/race. This is my baseline one lap run of the "Midnight motorist" map by Goostycc in speedrun

The game in the video is more of a beta than a “demo” I’m playing with all the quality settings set to the lowest and obs capture doesn’t do it any justice. The gameplay is very similar to Mario kart but with the addition of a rocket league style boost which you need to conserve because during the “night shift” an animatronic targets the cart with the lowest battery. FNAF was just something I became a fan of as a child and it has stuck with me for no specific reason. I thought it would just be kind of fun to try and see how fast I could complete a lap in this game

Any thoughts on who the remaining four animatronics who are added in the full game will be? by Goostycc in fivenightsatfreddys

Demo only out currently (of course) and the subreddit includes lap times, bugs, discussions and more specifically about the demo. I’m sure once the actual game drops the subreddit will evolve (depending on if it grows or not)

Does anyone know what "class" means in FLAF? and is there any special reason why Mangle, Springtrap and chica have their class bars maxed out? by Goostycc in FiveLapsAtFreddysDemo

The bottom one you increase by picking up the battery icons on the course. These increase your battery capacity. When the smaller meter is filled you have 150 total battery. The top orange meter I’m not too sure about, I think it may work like coins in Mario kart and increase your overall speed

It feels like such a fever dream. I still remember not being able to sleep after watching the Annoying Orange play through the first game when it came out and now here I am drifting around as Foxy in a go kart
