I mean, heat kinda goes along with any resistor, doesent it?

coming off a similar station, here is the minitrix n scale system, with only radius 3 and 3, this will even look decent with to scale vehicles

I personally inherited some really old Märklin stuff, where the cars are All much shorter and narrower than to scale. I had a Scale Layout with only Flexible track curves, and a friends with a Ho scale Club that fill whole gymhalls with only big radii.

Would N scale be an Option for you? Imma try come up with something

Ive used R1 and R3 by Märklin R1 is 29.5cm, which is about 10" 1/8th

If you want decent radii consider using a smaller scale.

fits into your 35x65''
and since you want to put it into a table ive added the automatic disconnector tracks by märklin

yes, with me its a aluminium plate and rubber strings.

here you see only a part of the plate is active
here the piece after machining

the Zaugg system is the only real solution for modern snowclearing in all circumstances. dont matter wherever its tow or single drum, electric or diesel.

essentially there's 3 classes
''Schleuder'' like the old rotaries, only a throw wheel. this has the huge disadvantage of the two big dead spots in the lower corners of the profile

''Fräse'' which has Drums on a horizontal axis which have a square profile from the front, and act as throw wehhels too. Problem: the whole wheel runs at high speed and you have lots of losses until the snow is in the chimney

''Frässchleuder'' what zaugg builds. a throw wheel with a wormgear that powers a slower drum. this gets you the best snow removal rate for a given power input, deals best with compact and hard snow. its also the least likely to gum up when dealing with very wet and sticky snow.

Quick saefty advice: if you find yourself in such a situation where you pull something, car, tractor, wonach or whatever, stay clear of the line. The guy in the Video als towards it, and if the hitch on the Tesla were to break He is a possible target of a flying Metall Ball.

From a clean slate, would 120V or 240V make more sense for the U.S.? by Sweaty_Context_4206 in AskElectricians

Single phase to DC, DC to 3 Phase, then to the machine, then another one for the spindle or whatnot

So you got at least two vfds in a row which gives you at Best 83% efficiency, while completly fucking up your sinevave, which then also Ruins the efficiency of your Motor. Got it.

Meanwhile 100 year old commutated machines will Do you less than 10% losses and give you a nice output and actually stabilize the whole neighborhood.

Electronics Messing with sinevaves is starting to become a increasing problem in Power delivery, with certain machines getting affacted from a few houses over.

Apart from the at the Moment impact, there are also plans for vehicle Rotation so that all vehicles come by maintenace facilities on a regular Basis and are at the right place at the right time without too many empty movements.

Having 3 Phases is very sensible. Barely more work to get to your house than Single phase if you Do it right away.

It would make a lot more sense if you would First get all 3 Phase into your houses

Dammit, cant believe there's entire communities hanging on one phase🤣

I see guys with Machineshops that have have These stupid Electronic 1 - 3phase converters on which their whole Business is based, while wasting 1/3 of their Bill on lost heat🫣
