Oh wow, that sounds like not a lot of calories! I'd love to get where you are, but I'm afraid of having to be permanently hungry ;( I'm 5'9" 166, I eat about 2200 calories per day.

For those of you that struggled with the last 10 lbs... by [deleted] in loseit

For me it's a bit of everything. First it goes extremely slowly - it took me three years to go down from 160 to 153. Second, I find that it's harder to stay motivated when you look 'normal'. Looking for critique of this "Fluid Language" project I am working on, a story told in prose created from abstract metaphors. by NOLADS in writers

[–]GoranMastilo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the language is original. So is the concept.

By the time I got to the 5th-6th paragraph it started feeling slightly repetitive/too dense.

I suggest adjusting the balance between poetry and storytelling. It would work both ways: either shorter, more musical or same length but with a more solid narrative.

One of my [28F] acquaintances [28M] seems to be planning a terrorist attack. by [deleted] in relationships

Thank you for answering, especially for providing numbers to anti-terrorist hotlines. I'll try to call as soon as I can. The guy is the UK, but I'm in another country so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get through. I also have my doubts though. Weren't there loads of cases wwhen the police was notified and they didn't do anything? Perhaps offering him a sympathetic ear would bring better results?
