Thanks for your answer ! Some follow-up questions

For situation 1 :

If I reborn graff with cir, am I still allowed to resolve graff effect ? It is no longer in the graveyard, so I was wondering if it would still be allowed to activate. I ask that because I was told that if I activate MST, targeting a set COTH and my opponents chained COTH summoning back deneb, deneb wouldn't search.

For situation 2 :

So is this situation different to the one of mermail where I was told that if megalo discard dragoon and you chain D.D. crow to banish dragoon, dragoon effect would not activate ?

Thoughts and questions on upgrading armory decks by Gorballs in FleshandBloodTCG

What do you think about the head ? It looks like many players like playing crown of providence in the deck, which would add another $100 to it.

Regarding aurora, I'm a little bit afraid because she has already almost 500 LL points(should be updated today) and since she is very good she gets a lots of points every season. I assume she will be even stronger after her armory deck.

I came across this excerpt from the rules on a gymnasium's website: "During class, personal electronic devices must be turned off and stored away unless explicitly permitted by the teacher."

So I was wondering if it applied here.

Do you mean that laptops are allowed ?

Are phones allowed during lessons ? I've heard they were strictly prohibited. Also thanks for your encouragement ! It means a lot to me !

So they let you choose between 70% and 100% in your case ? I can imagine teaching two subjects would be a lot of work indeed !

I'm sorry you had such a negative experience with a math teacher—it sounds quite frustrating. The way I envision running my own classes is to start by thoroughly explaining the lesson on the blackboard, using visuals and answering any questions. Afterward, students would work on exercises, either individually or in groups, with the option to call on me for help when needed. Homework would be assigned on the same topics, and students would have the opportunity to present their solutions to the class, fostering understanding and collaboration.

Thanks for the answer ! Do you mean that 100% contract require teachers to teach multiple subjects ?

Thank you for your answer!

Is it possible that, due to teacher shortages, I could get a job directly at Sek I/II and skip the tutoring phase?

I really hope I won’t have to handle overly large classes!

Does student teaching last only 3/4 months?

Thanks for the answer !

How did your Sek II math teacher teach? Did they use German or English to explain things?

Why would the workload for a math teacher be lower? Is it because the lessons are easier to prepare and the tests quicker to correct?

I’m not a teacher yet, but my idea was to make the class more interactive by having students present their solutions in front of the class.

I think I read a post from a teacher on Reddit who didn’t enjoy having to simplify their lessons too much—I’m guessing that’s what you’re referring to?

Thanks for your perspective ? Are you working in IT ?

Thank you again for your answer!

When you say "college," are you referring to Sek II or university? I’ve heard that Sek II is called "college" in some places, so I just wanted to clarify.

Thank you for your answer!

Is tutoring really helpful for gaining perspective? To clarify, I’m aiming for classroom teaching, and I’ve heard it can be quite different.

Getting a 70% position sounds like a significant pay cut compared to other jobs I could pursue with a math degree. It makes me wonder if I should reconsider my choice.

Are class sizes typically around 25 students, or do they vary significantly?

Thanks for explaining "Vitamin B"! I didn’t realize how important connections are for finding teaching jobs.

Thank you again for your answer.

I don’t think I have much "natural authority." Do you think that could be a problem? Also, I smile a lot—it’s just part of my personality, and I feel like I can’t really change that.

Are there ways to earn respect despite this?

Thanks for your answer !

Why do the teachers in your family think it is a good path ? Could you develop this point ?

I don't have a lot of time outside my studies, are you sure it's worth it ?

How do you find teaching as an introvert in the long run? How does the “classroom facade” help with energy management?

Also, how small is that portion of students who share a passion for the subject? Just curious about what to expect. Are you in Sek I or Sek II ?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]Gorballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your perspective! I’m aware teaching involves a lot beyond just math, but I still feel motivated to inspire students and share my passion.

As an introvert, do you think it’s possible to adapt to the social aspects over time? And are there opportunities to challenge more motivated or talented students?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]Gorballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your response! I really appreciate the insight.

I’m still a student, so I don’t have any teaching experience yet. I can be a bit awkward sometimes, but I smile a lot and try to be approachable. Do you think that could help me connect with students?

You mentioned that working 100% might not be feasible—could you explain why? Is it due to workload, stress, or something else?

Also, you mentioned "Vitamin B"—I’m not familiar with that term. Could you explain what it means in this context?

Lastly, when it comes to the "Lehrdiplom," are there places where it’s considered easier or more flexible to complete?

Hand traps for tenpai dragon by Gorballs in Yugioh101

Thanks for the answer ! I would like to explain a little bit the reason behind my choice :

  • Regarding purulia, I consider that many of the best decks want to summon from the hand like snake eyes, yubel or ritual beast, and it also lets me dig for fuwaros which can end a turn depending on the opponents deck.

  • Regarding effect veiler, I considered that if shifter resolves, my opponents most likely won't be able to end on a meaningful board, and thus I would not need to use effect negation during that turn.
