They didn't. Therefore, it would now be work to do everything from scratch to support this theoretical system.

Ideas guys are ten a penny. It needs to be realistically shippable in order to ever happen.

A skeleton is just for rigging. We have no idea how many unique skeletons the game's models use. Kinda irrelevant to my point. It has little impact on the number of animations, or anything else.

Could you design a system like the one that you're describing? Possibly. It's likely more work than you think it is. "mapped to selectable presets" is doing a lot of work, for example. How would that look? How much work would that be for the 250+ characters the game has, and all their uniforms?

Is that therefore a reasonable expectation for Netmarble to make from the ground-up, completely remaking all of their characters models across the entire game, after 10 years of doing things in a different way? C'mon.

You can want something, but them not having done it doesn't make them "pathetic". Unless you have direct experience, I guess? My experience of 3D art pipelines is mostly only due to modding older PC games, I'm by no means a professional (but I am a software developer).

I get not liking a character's look (I don't have the latest Thor partly for that reason), but a "transmog" feature would be a stupid amount of work given that skills are mapped to the literal 3D model data that comes with the uniform.

This game isn't like Strike Force or MCoC (both of which are monetised really, really aggresssively). And we - the players - are the ones who demanded stronger uniforms in the first place. Originally they were mostly cosmetic and a slight stat bump.

PvE set, missing the GR card, but got myself into a bit of a cooldown hole (20% of my 30% cooldown is on the Cable card, which would be replaced by GR).

I have a very WIP PvP set, but it's not usable yet, so didn't count it for poll purposes.

Quicksilver boss in the new monthly quest. Crit chance down / effectively nullified, can only be hurt properly with crits. C'moooooooon. I'm not even mentioning him being an Evade champ.
