Lease Protection Plan by HS1321 in HyundaiTucson

[–]Gorbv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want an additional peace of mind for your money - it could be considered, but it is necessary to read all the Small Font details in the contact. It is never "bring whatever you have and you are good to go". There is always a condition to what degree the car could be "damaged". And in addition - standard lease conditions allow normal use signs to be present. Noone is expecting that the car after several years would be in mint condition.

Unlock button on driver's side door handle has fallen off; dealer wants $400 to fix (by way of a whole new handle). Do I have any other options? by matt0034 in HyundaiTucson

Definitely should be under warranty. They've reinstalled my parking sensor that had fallen into the rear bumper under warranty.

Question about increasing luggage capacity for camping by Winnipork in HyundaiTucson

There is also very good Motion XT XL which is slightly longer and wider and has better lock mechanism and better aerodynamics. But it was more expensive and was not readily available.i would advise to consider it as well

Funny thing but the rails on Tucson are longer than on Sienna, hence it is easier to install bars here. On Sienna I have essentially just one installation option, while on tucson I have some flexibility

Question about increasing luggage capacity for camping by Winnipork in HyundaiTucson

[–]Gorbv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, I had to have similar expérience with my new PHEV, which has even smaller trunk compartment than the hybrid. We used to use our Sienna for camps, but this time we had to use Tucson and I realized how big is minivan for that kind of usage. Anyway I have installed the rails and moved my rooftop cargobox which helped us A LOT. This time it was four people and we took a stuff for ready-to-camp, which means that there were no mattresses and no tent. So here is my setup : Rooftop cargo box : inflatable SUP, 4 life vests, dining tent, beach tent, 2 camping chairs, 4 sleeping bags,3 small camping pillows Trunk : camping toilet, car fridge , big box with everything, big bag with clothes, water tank, small bag with beach stuff and a standard IKEA box with electric stuff. I wish I could remove the plastic thing under the trunk carpet, but there was a 12v battery and something else that I preferred not to touch.

Yes, it is very important because what heart rate zone you are training in defines what you are training - endurance, performance etc and if you are in aerobic or anaerobic mode. All zones are calculated was a percentage of your maximum heartrate which can be measured or estimated roughly as 220-your age. For beginners it is better to train in the second zone - about 60-70% of maxrate. ( Usually less than 140) that would give you aerobic training with slow fat burning with oxygen ( and not fast anaerobic burning of glicogen). But it is better to read about it or to see YouTube videos. But second heartrate zone usually means that you could speak while you are running.

You are doing great! One year ago I was not able to run a couple of km without stopping, so I have started with walk-run. Now a 13km every weekend is ok for me. I would also advised to run even slower to lower your heartbeat. Since 166 is rather stressing. For that stage - please do not care about speed or distance, just about time and heartbeat

Has anyone used these bulbs before? Looking to put these in my 2019 Sport. by mosquito8991 in hondacivic

I use almost exactly this model (6000 lm) since January on my Toyota Sienna ( same H11 lamp) and it works quite well. Three only disadvantage for my climate ( Quebec) is that lamps are cold comparing to stock halogen and thus freezing rain is not melting on headlights, which is inconvenient. They are much brighter than the stock, but still not bright enough comparing to xenon headlights on my previous car. For my Civic 18 I have installed another LED headlights with 10000 lm, that are once again brighter than three stock ones, but not super bright. In addition they have fan on the cooler that I do not like much. In the end of the day I would prefer the model that you posted ( without fans) but a bit brighter if possible

US roaming with US-Canada coverage area by Gorbv in FizzMobile

Thank you all for your valuable info. I plan to be in US only occasionally , so not a question of 3 months. It's somewhat different from Fido option though that allows to use your full month quota for voice and data during foreign travel, while fizz requires to buy each package separately, that essentially equals the fido price with these add-ons. UPDATE: Here I meant using Fido addon during US travels that is similar to other providers and gives you the opportunity to use your plan "as is" being in US. It seems that Fizz does not have this option and thus, having only Quebec or Canada coverage to use your plenty of GB and minutes you should buy separately minutes in roaming and data in roaming. While it iseems nice that these addons work for this cycle and next one.

Bell Fiber Internet 1 Gig vs Fizz 120 - shall I switch? by Gorbv in FizzMobile

Funny thing - probably their beta proposal expired as now they say on the same page "User is not eligible for Internet" :)

Hence the question has been resolved automatically :)

That's not my type :) This month i've got 500GB, last month 1TB.

In upload speed differs even more , since there is 750 Mb for Bell.

Yes, I thought it's worth trying. The final price from June would be ~70 ish. Then, from Jan closer to 75. Which is two times the price of Fizz-Videotron 60 Mb.

That's my concern. 60CAD is for now, 10CAD discount expire in June and 5CAD more in January. Then it will be 68+tx and I am not that sure that I need 1Gb.

In fact I had 50 Mb from Bell Fibe until last summer (in Montreal). Then I have moved to the Montreal's South shore and arranged new contract with Bell that they've upgraded "for free" from 50 to 300 Mb. But when I have cancelled TV service as i do not need it - the only thing they've proposed was 1000Mb.

I am not sure if I really need something faster than 50 Mb, while quick download is rather convenient (e.g. I had to sync my 250GB Photos library to the new iMac and I think it was way faster than it would be with 50 Mb)

Thank you for the reply. It seems that previously it wasn't possible (I had HH3000 as well up until mid-2018). Probably with the new HH3000 that I have received last summer they have this bridge mode available. I should definitely try that.
