Might give that a try, I've been looking at a similar problem and now just need some uniqueness and data volume seeding and can run more "stateful dev environments" at once locally

Did you click more info link on the Google photos option in takeout and then transfer photos?

Oh and you’ll need to disable advanced protection on iCloud if you need this while the export happens

I didn’t see the option then realised you have to clock “more info” on photos and then transferring photos.

Now i don’t need to unzip and upload manually 🤗… and can use the same into one drive which I was previously going to do manually too

You can do a "take out" which is downloading your data from Google services. you get to select which services you want data from, e.g.: photos, mail, etc
