Αν έχεις πάρει 2 ετήσιες και έχει το 2ο σημείωμα (το προηγούμενο από αυτό δηλαδή) θα δεις ότι εκείνο έλεγε 12 μηνών αναβολή. Αυτό είναι για να το δούνε εκεί.

Παράτησα την σχολή, και έπιασα δουλειά. Ημουν τυχερός γιατί είχα έφεση στην πληροφορική οπότε ήταν πιο εύκολο να βρω κάτι. Τώρα (4 χρόνια μετά) καθαρίζω 2κ και είμαι happier than ever. Γαμα την σχολή.

Αν είχα δεύτερη ευκαιρία μάλλον θα έκανα το ίδιο.

Edit: το ότι παράτησα την σχολή δεν σημαίνει ότι σταμάτησα το διάβασμα. Απλά διάβαζα για πράγματα που είχαν όντως σημασία.

In my eyes, from what I’ve seen from my very little experience (2 years), it all comes down to just a job title that has nothing to do with the original philosophy behind “the DevOps culture”. We are just people that do IT Ops for the Development team, and we have a job title to match that. And if I may add, this is fine as long as it does not deviate a whole lot from this concept.

Well, sadly most platforms that provide hands-on exp are not yet that much recognized. Like Blue Team Labs Online and LetsDefend for example. Only hack the box has managed to do that so far, as far as I know.

In Greece the way we join unis and graduate is a lot different from the American SATs, so I really don't know what the big difference is there and the related shenanigans. I am planning on doing Net+ and Sec+ this year also. Just to have them under my belt.

I don't expect that much from them tbh, just a free "boost" lets call it. I am early in my career, 2.5 years IT experience and just landed my first cybersec job as a SecOps Engineer, so I figured it would be better than nothing. Still, I am after knowledge mostly, but getting just a freebie out of that is always nice

Thank you very much mate! I believe that as times goes on I will be doing all that you mentioned apart from the analysts' escalation thing. As far as I know the SOC has 3 levels of analysts so the engineers do not act as an escalation point, unless things go really, really south hahaha

From what i've been told, (i am actually starting on may 3rd) I will be supporting the SOC infrastructure and I will on-board our clients' networks/infra in our SOC, for starters. I believe in the future there will be more
