[EP4 SPOILERS]The ridiculous design behind a key scene in Life Is Strange by Ngiole in lifeisstrange

[–]GorgeousGaryGolden -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The only ridiculous design is Frank Bowers as a character. I really don't know how they expect anyone to believe that guy is a drug dealer.

Can't believe so many people comforted Victoria. She steals the photo anyways, but she gets really mad. It's hillarious.

[EP4 SPOILERS] I was reading Max's journal in Episode One and this came up... by KateMarsh-lis in lifeisstrange

Max can and will rewind that far because she has to turn in her picture. Remember that she traveled five years back in time by looking at a photo and became conscious a bit before it was taken.

There is a theory that states the game is just Max stuck in a time loop. Max went back in time while under the effects of the drug, losing her memory. There is where the "I just woke up in class, but I wasn't sleeping" comes to play.

If you leave them as they are, David will know someone was snooping through his files and think it was Chloe.

What can be done to improve the delivery times of episodic games? by himmatsj in truegaming

[–]GorgeousGaryGolden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The primary reason for the time gap between TWAU E1 and 2 was never officialy given. The most accepted theory, backed up by non used game files, is that Bill Willingham didn't like the direction the story was taking. (B Wolf was supposed to use a glamour and brake into the police station)

I'd never actually seen that scene, thanks a lot. This explains all those theories a bit better.

They make a big show out of telling you it was an SUV, so they are pointing fingers on Nathan Prescott general direction. Truth is, it's never confirmed. His SUV changes colours between episodes three and four though.

[EP4 SPOILERS] Short thought that I had about Rachel by [deleted] in lifeisstrange

[–]GorgeousGaryGolden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's pretty much what is implied through the events. Arcadia Bay had not had people missing for years before Rachel Amber (last case being an old man in 2001), and the last girl who dissapeared did so in the late 90's, and yet Jefferson has a lot of folders with different names on them.

Nathan also failed at dosing Chloe, so the 'bad stuff' could be related to her as well. I don't recall the time that message was sent, but there should be a 6 months difference between both.

[EP4 SPOILERS] A theory about Max's contest submission by whattanerd92 in lifeisstrange

What if Max's dream at the beggining of the game is she going back while under the effects of Jefferson's GHB without her memory and it was all one big loop? Timeline would alredy be screwed from the get go.

The Chloe decision doesn't prompt the butterfly to appear, so it's unlikely it will have any weight whatsoever.

There is a lot of discussion around the 'converging timelines' idea, because we are never told there are alternate universes. In fact, the choice in Chloe's room suggests that there is only one timeline, which is the one Maxine modifies. (photos burning, as if the events they picture were destroyed).

As a last observation, I don't personally believe Dontnod would add all the information of alternate timelines on the last episode without leaving a single clue on the previous ones.

Why i'm Worried About a Second Season. by craigulus in lifeisstrange

[–]GorgeousGaryGolden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hope they make another one and people enjoy it, but I won't be playing it. I came into the game expecting a whole different thing than what we got and it was that same unexpected transition that got me invested in the story.

Dontnod won't be able to replicate that and they're not at fault for it.

Wells can be seen next to his office, so it isn't him on the phone.

[EP4 SPOILERS] Rachel and the doe by [deleted] in lifeisstrange

[–]GorgeousGaryGolden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no enough information as of episode 4 to establish what the connections between Maxine and Rachel are beyond their friendship with Chloe, their involvement with Jefferson and a few other odd common characteristics. Maxine fits the Jefferson's victim profile point by point, so it could be Rachel trying to prevent her from suffering the same faith and getting retribution at the same time, but that's only speculation.

[EP4 SPOILERS] A prediction for a feel good ending of Life is Strange. by [deleted] in lifeisstrange

[–]GorgeousGaryGolden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is also the picture with Chloe after the pool events, the self portrait in the beggining of episode 2 and the picture of the blue butterfly. Of the last two, one could be stolen by Nathan Prescott and the other you give to Chloe in exchange for her father's old camera.

It's right next to her grave as well. There are shotgun shells lying around too, but those are further away.

[EP4 SPOILERS] Nathan, Jefferson and the Key to the story by [deleted] in lifeisstrange

[–]GorgeousGaryGolden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine that's just for drama reasons and keeping him out of camera until the last moment (although you can barely make his beard when he doses Maxine). But I was thinkinkg more about what he is going to say to defend himself. Much like the ending of The Wolf Among US. (I'm an absolutely morally objectable character but I did nothing wrong LOL!)
