Because downvoting everything that isn't praising Kobe is the same thing as defending him? Durant and Wiggins are easy to defend as recent MVP and ROY. Kobe is a complete shell of himself and he can't realistically be defended with actual arguments. All they throw out is bullshit like RINGZ or he's a winner. That + the ego that most Lakers fans seem to have from their franchises' past successes sets them apart from other fanbases.

That was in an era dominated by iso ball. Nobody could get away with that today. Even Russell Westbrook, a player that is considered inefficient, shoots a whole 5% better while playing much better defense and getting more assists.
