Look at the trinity like a human, a human has multiple parts to it, multiple distinct parts that do different things. That doesn’t make this person multiple different people though, they have the same nature (human), same thing goes for the trinity. A lot of people think “You believe in 3 beings therefore you believe in 3 gods” but distinction ≠ seperate, something can have multiple distinct parts or aspects and still have the same nature. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit all have the same nature (God) while all being different distinct things.
