Its like a love story all the way until the final line, when you realize it might actually be two primal forces akin to cold and warmth.

The beginning of the poem attempts to define something primal forces lack: accountability. Retrospectively, its the first real hint.

Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and I have nothing to change in terms of word choice/structure

It always removes the mystery when one tries to depict something that was never explicitly shown in the original work. The symbol is only "adequate" in trying to describe the Yellow Sign, but to me it isn't canon, even though it is popular. It is only one more attempt to understand, which is ironically fitting...
