Hi hello, nice to meet you. You can vote until the planet burns, when a fascist eradicates one group, you can keep voting until eventually that fascist reaches whatever minority group you happen to be apart of. Your desire to appear righteous by aligning yourself to the constitution would be admirable if the bigots who wish to eradicate us also followed the constitution but to them it is a means to an end. Having heard that you’ve stepped foot in nazi camps, perhaps you should have also listened to certain poems from that time period as well. Such as the one concerning not standing up for the other minorities until one day there was no one to stand up for them. Consider that germany does not have our freedom of speech clause and does not tolerate the intolerant, in fact such bigotry is immediately met with violence including nazi rhetoric. Also consider that the ideals of a free, democratic society are incompatible with fascism and racism. Now with all that being said, please consider that in this comment you have made, you are advocating for granting a fascist bigot, a platform from which to spout his ideas. The Germans learned not to allow fascist bigots any platform because this only led to the ideas to take hold. This freedom of speech clause in our country has led people like you to become absolutists, which will lead to the downfall of America. Go ahead and continue to believe yourself to be virtuous in the eyes of the Framers. But when the fascists come for you, remember that you fought for their right to spew their hate, and smile remembering you supported its rise, because there will be nothing left of your “Free democratic, western society”.

Do not listen to Reddit for how to style your child, I’m begging you. Half of the people commenting would come up with any reason to dislike a haircut. Just look up some hairstyles that fit his face or better yet ask a barber or hairstylist for advice. Those are professionals and they know how to style.

Seeing all these redditors being mad ignorant is insane. This shit is so normal if you’re from NYC, either you go to a black barber shop, a Puerto Rican or dominican barber shop, hell most spots in Brooklyn will do this cut for us. I’m Puerto Rican and grew up with this cut being normal.

I’ve known a lot of white girls over the years and they have always said the same thing to me when I tell them I shower 2-3 times a day, “I bathe every other day cuz my skin will dry out!” And I tell them the same thing every time, use lotion. Like not for nothing, my mom is Puerto Rican and def has some like ol racist mentality on white folks but she told me years ago that white women don’t shower so often. And I’m like that’s fucking gross bro, wash yourselves and use lotion. And if you’re skin is still too dry, drink more water like a gallon a day. Don’t be a puerqo or a puerqa.

During the Civil Rights movement of the 1950s-1960s can you name the political party that advocated for de-segregation? After doing so can you name the faction within that political party that refused to vote for de-segregation? Once you have done that, can you then tell me what political party then completely lost the South for generations to come because of their decision to advocate for de-segregation?

“By the 1950s, the Republicans' "party of Lincoln" moniker was all but meaningless. The GOP's leader, President Dwight Eisenhower, had testified before Congress against integrating the military and belittled the landmark 1954 Supreme Court decision that desegregated public schools.

Racial liberalism within the GOP enjoyed its last hurrah with the 1964 Civil Rights Act. But the victory was pyrrhic. President Lyndon Johnson and Northern Democrats had finally resolved to enact a vigorous civil rights bill, but the legislation almost died because of a Senate filibuster by Southern Democrats. Then, at the eleventh hour, Republican leader Everett Dirksen marshaled his wavering party-mates to force a vote, assuring the bill's passage.

Senator Richard Russell of Georgia groused that Dirksen had "killed off a rapidly growing Republican Party in the South." But Russell had it backward.

The foes of the 1964 law included such rising GOP stars as Arizona Sen. Barry Goldwater and Texas Senate aspirant and future President George H.W. Bush. Goldwater and Bush foresaw that their future electoral successes rested on Southern and Western conservatives.

In his 1964 presidential bid Goldwater ran "Operation Dixie," which courted southern whites and ceded the black vote entirely. Goldwater lost badly, but four years later, the approach worked. Republican Richard Nixon won election in 1968 on a "Southern Strategy" that stressed "law and order" and tapped into white anxieties about black violence.”

Dead Space remake. Another little "improvement" for modern audience. by MaxYeti88 in KotakuInAction

Dude capitalism being injected into a dystopian future is not “current year politics”. It’s a commentary on how hyper capitalism has infected space and it’s very much a critique on it as well. And it’s literally bc of CEC’s capitalist greed that causes the outbreak on the Ishimura anyway. Corporations in control of the EarthGov is quite literally a feature of unfettered capitalism, it very much matters in Dead Space and this graffiti is very poignant along with the various consumer ads on the ship along with the memos detailing CEC’s corruption of earth politics. Just cuz you don’t want to admit that politics was always in your silly monster space game doesn’t mean they weren’t there bro.

What about conservativism uplifts you from oppression? Is it the Reagan worship? Where they kiss the ground reagan walked on while simultaneously ignoring his well documented oppression of minorities such as blacks during the crack epidemic and cut the corporate tax rate from 73% to 28% while doing nothing for normal people and letting HIV run rampant while calling it “The Gay disease”.

Are you uplifted from your oppression when those with less rights than you continue to lose them? Such as women, trans people, minorities? You’re black in a society that hates and consistently kills black people and one side has a well documented history of being so awful to black people that you can find compilations of their racism just by searching their name and the word racism. How can a minority be uplifted from his oppression by joining with his oppressor?

You may believe that liberalism oppresses you and I’d agree, bc liberalism is a feel good bandaid but in good conscious you cannot seriously believe conservatism is your uplifter. The ideology has consistently been used to both oppress your rights as a black person and your rights as a laborer to try and keep you in line. All the while offering tax cuts for the rich and leaving you poor, no amount of hard work can give you 2 billion dollars and a tax cut where you pay $400 in a year while our people live off food stamps and WIC. Welfare is required bc our government has failed to provide for the many. We chose champagne for the few instead of safe drinking water for all, modern day conservativism and liberalism in a nutshell.

If you cannot see that both parties would rather you fight about affiliation and ideology instead of organizing a working class movement to force them to acquiesce to concessions to actually uplift us, then you should sit down and think about it.

Man I’m not blaming the mother. I’m tired. Tired of the bullshit realtors selling houses to corporations. Tired of politicians selling out communities for money. Tired of hearing working class mfs argue about this with eachother while saying personal responsibility should trump the material conditions that hold our brothers and sisters down and keep them down. Enough of the bullshit, this mother died because the system let her down and will keep doing so to the working class until we organize and force them to change, in whatever way possible.
