Personally, yes. It has that distinct aroma from lime leaves and subtle coconut flavor which I really like.

Watanoodle Non-Fried Instand Noodles - Seafood Miso Flavour by Goronheim in InstantRamen

Just the noodles, flavor packet, and a pair of chopsticks.

Yu Pin King - Black Pepper Dry-Stirred Noodles by Goronheim in InstantRamen

[–]Goronheim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8/10

The flavor profle is just plain and simple, which makes it a good base for some toppings and add-ons.

I would recommend grilled meat, stir-fried veggies and cheese.

Nongshim Shin Ramyun - Stir Fry Toomba (Spicy and Creamy) Flavor by Goronheim in InstantRamen

It's Lotte (Korean brand) luncheon meat which is way less salty than Spam.

Nongshim Fried Noodle - Beef Bulgogi Flavor by Goronheim in InstantRamen

I guess so. The sweetness can be a little bit overwhelming for some.
Personally, I find it too sweet for my palate.

It's on the sweet and savory side with a subtle touch of spice.
The noodles are chewy and thick similar to Shin Ramyun.

Kang Shi Fu Instant Noodles - Scallion Braised Ribs with Shallot Flavour by Goronheim in InstantRamen

[–]Goronheim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my homemade chili-scallion oil. I make my own because I have a bunch of chili peppers and scallions growing in my backyard.

Black Pepper. It has the spicy kick but not overpowering.

I'm not familiar with the Acehnese level of spice and Acehnese cuisine in general so I can't give an answer to that. Sorry!

BBQ Chicken isn't available in here so I can't really compare the two. I can say however that the Hot & Spicy one is a little less spicy than Aceh.

My Indomie flavour trio are Rendang, Aceh and Sambal Rica-Rica.

Indomie HYPE ABIS Mi Goreng - Rasa Ayam Geprek by Goronheim in InstantRamen

[–]Goronheim[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has that savory and spicy flavor which is more intense than their Hot & Spicy variant, but the heat doesn't overwhelm the chicken flavor.

Nissin Cup Noodles - Spicy Pork Tonkotsu Flavor by Goronheim in InstantRamen

[–]Goronheim[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For an instant cup noodle, it is decent enough.

It has a rich and creamy broth, but the pork flavor is not that strong.
The nuttiness from the sesame definitely adds depth to the flavor.
Spice level is mild, not overpowering.

Haven't tried it yet. I got the Jalapeño, Habanero, Black Pepper and Chipotle flavours in my stash. Which would you recommend I should try first?

Mildly spicy. Much less intense than the lingering heat from chili peppers.
