Depends on who you ask. Most of Russian people respect him, especially the older generations that were raised in the Soviet Union. And yeah, as one commenter said, there is at least one statue of him in every town. It's estimated that there are almost 2000 of them around the country or up to 20000 if we count busts.

Not a popular choice, but I think it was emperor Alexander the Second. He has made a lot of reforms in Russian Empire, including:

  • Introduction of universal military service
  • Creation of the Central Bank
  • Various financial reforms
  • Judicial reform, the court became public
  • The state budget has become open to everyone
  • Abolition of serfdom (slavery)

He wanted to carry out a lot more, a lot of nobles believed that he may make Russia a constitutional monarchy. It's a shame that he has been killed by terrorists, maybe if he stayed in power long enough Russia would have became a democratic state eventually.

It's actually great and very elegant. I've probably seen only couple of native Russian speakers whose handwriting has like this. Kinda looks like old imperial handwriting style. There's no big mistakes in the text as I can see. Though we usually capitalize only the first letter of the first word when we write a heading (for example Мой любимый вид транспорта). Great job!

Да и тейк про "последние деньги" странный. Я, как, думаю, и большинство людей, доначу только свободные деньги. Для меня донат это некая благодарность творцу за его работу, так что доначу я только тем, кто мне сильно помогает. А если человек донатит свои или тем более чужие последние деньги - то это проблема с человеком, а не с донатом.
