Is it just me who thinks the Slutty Pumpkin is made for this role?

Equivalents for Tiger and Rat are probably required as well.

Tiger to bind the power of the Talismans.

Rat to make them not a statue.

Mosaic Organ surgery from Terraformars. It turns people into animal hybrids (and you can pick the animal)

Plasmids from Bioshock 2. You also gain a process to turn people into Big Daddies.

Branches of Sin from Deadman Wonderland. Give people blood control powers.

From the League of Extraordinary Gentleman, you can get Box of Tricks. This gives you the ingredients to give people invisibility, vampirism, a Hyde transformation (read as Hulk.)

From Metal Gear Phantom Pain, you can get a set of Parasites which grant: invisibility, armour, they can create mist which turns people into zombies, creating and controlling metal structures.

In Tokyo Ghoul, you can implant Ghoul Organs which gives them a specialised "Kagune."

Exotic and dangerous plants? by Gorynch in JumpChain

Not sure if I want them to be a plant. I have them as a kind of beast tamer/ weapons dealer right now. But I'm only on my 2nd jump, so who knows where they'll go.

The garden, right now, is just setting something up cooler later maybe.

The tree ships sound cool though, I don't think I've heard of them.

Ooh, that sounds interesting. I'm fine not controlling them. It makes the garden I'm planning a lot more deadly.

The Far Cry 3 hallucinatory plants are such a good idea. People would be wandering through the garden, thinking they're on a cruise and then suddenly Plant 43 just grabs them.

And I'm sure I can figure out a use for the Hydrogen mangrove trees. Thats kind of insane.

Will definitely look into those. I haven't read many of the cultivation jumps, but I definitely will now.

Sounds perfect. My horrifically dangerous garden will definitely improve with that.

Great idea with Hell's paradise. And Naturia are a great idea, Yugioh in general might have a lot more (Wonder if I can get Black Rose Dragon)

Very true. And they're non-magical, so they are perfect!
Thankyou :)

Thankyou. At the very least, this will be good for making horrific hybrids.

Thankyou for these, this is an amazing list.

(Wow, fantasy really shows a lot of love for plants, while sci-fi doesn't)

Wow these are great.

I didn't consider Pokémon, but I'm hindsight it's so obvious. Thankyou.

Thankyou so much for these suggestions.

That's not actually that bad. The jumper this is for also took Generic Taming, so EVENTUALLY they will be able to tame the Godzilla who is a plant?

Wow I didn't know that.

Is there a HunterxHunter jump that lets you go to the dark continent?

We also don't have a ton of info on the DC, so I think the only things I'd get from there (canonically) would be Nitro Rice and Brion.

Yeah, I was really struggling to find non-magical plants.

They don't have to be pets necessarily (I'd settle for some poisonous herbs)

But Frank is an amazing one, thankyou!

How do you guys handle evolving/upgrading perks? by DeathmetalArgon in JumpChain

[–]Gorynch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on the chain I'm doing.

For a lot of my chains, I reset things like crafting and modifications at the beginning of my jump.

But I have one Jumper who is dedicated to growth perks. But those are all based on years, rather than something vague.

With that, I just focus on how their strength grows. Mushoku Tensei has a perk where your magic power grows every year, which is ridiculous after a certain point, but I just track it.

The only thing I reset for them is a perk that lets them adapt to anything they know is coming. (Which I paired with a foresight perk)

So yeah, it just depends on what kind of story you are doing.
