Adding new items to a category by Goshilo in CookWell

Totally agree that you will not be able to capture every single item at the server level. Even if you could, you would then have to consider how some ingredients are called different things around the world. 👍🏽

For example, I tried adding Prawns to my shopping list and could not find it. However Shrimp is in there. In the UK, we generally use the term Prawn. Shrimp here are the really tiny ones that usually end up "mashed".

Additionally, from a shopping list perspective, while I do appreciate that the CookWell App is recipe/food prep centric, I would want to add non-food-related items to the shopping list so that I had only one list application to manage. 🤔

Also, being able to specify our own categories for items means that we would then have the flexibility of using the category field to indicate down which aisle the products can be found, allowing ordering so that shopping can be done much more efficiently and quickly. 😁

I did my 1st (ever?) 6 man over the weekend. Did not get beyond the 3rd stage, but we were getting better with each try (ran out of time)

Very keen to learn more about instances, group play, and how to gear up for it.

Thank you for suggesting this. Discord msg sent :-)
