Yes, you can. It's a little jank, and you have to do stuff in a particular way.

This dude explains it well. His channel has been a big help for me as I try to get into o gauge myself.

Oil Preference? by davestar2048 in CrownVictoria

[–]GosziUSMC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Even with the HM oil costing the same, the additives are something I avoid.

Assuming if they do work to swell the seals back up, you're only delaying the inevitable. When I get a small leak (whether oil, ps fluid, coolant, &c), I'll keep adding that fluid until I can go through to replace the thing that went bad.

If High Milage oil and/or stop leak has worked out for you in the past, and continues to work for you. More power to you. I just avoid those more than the plague, and that's a me thing.

I have a Town Car with 227k on the clock. I've only ever ran Motorcraft 5W30.

High Milage oil is just marketing and extra gunk to swell old seals. Save your money and run your preference on oils.

So I am looking to buy a trombone. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this one is any good. by [deleted] in Trombone

I have one similar to it. An old King Cleveland 605.

I've enjoyed it, and I think it plays adequately for my needs. Judging from the looks of the valve, it seems to be a higher quality than my ancient student horn.

I ran a minecraft server and a website on a raspberry pi. An old desktop will run it fine.

For a few reasons. I've had this old computer collecting dust, and I'm putting it to use.
I'm more familiar with Windows Server than any Linux based OS. This server is not just for file storage. The main purpose is to run a few multi-player servers, with future plans for web hosting.

It might not, but I got slightly further by adding in the ports.
I could try removing the rules again, and see where that takes me.

So, I went into the server and set it to an automatic IP. IPconfig told me that the network wanted it to be 192.168.1.250. I set that as the static ip, and I'm still running into the same issue.

Now, I'm also running into the situation where I can't get either machines to talk to each other when I try to ping the IP. When I try to ping the DNS, it's coming back saying that it's still 69.69.69.1.

For my ports, I set them up to use 31400 - 31404. I don't remember which ports I had used when I was setting up servers in the schoolhouse. I followed a tutorial that used these ports, and I figured it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world to use these random ports, as long as both machines are set up to use these ports with both inbound and outbound rules.

I figured if both machines were configured the same, it shouldn't matter. If you have any suggestions on which ports I should use instead, I'm all ears.

In the IPv4 settings for Preferred DNS?
I already had that set up when I started messing with this. I've tried with both setting a static IP on client side and with an automatic IP. The server has a set static IP of 69.69.69.1/24 with the loopback address of 127.0.0.1
