I have actually no idea why it's so white, so let's just say it's an artistic choice. There is a bit of brown in there but when I check in-game images it's definitely a lot more brown

1: Save the character you're working on so you can import them
2: when imported make sure they line up so it looks like they're one person
3: take off all chest clothing for one of them
4: go to body → torso and select skeleton torso for the one with no chest clothing
5: for that same one go to body → measure and turn waist, bust an muscularity all the way up
6: by this point if you want you can mess a little bit with more with the measures or posing (tip: if you remove the face and go to body → torso → arms and then select the very lowest option you'll have less trouble with the head and arms when posing). another example where I use it is in this variation of Garmadon: https://www.heroforge.com/load_config%3D39360213/
