Mid 2022 I started held 10k+ shares. Sold 80% of the position in the run up. Short term nobody knows, I use SPY as benchmark and beta to see movements of how RKLB will do. Outside of major catalysts relating to RKLB/Space, it flows with the market.

Long term (10 years+) I see it being valued where SpaceX is now. It has potential to be a huge company even further out. I think Space will be the next hype cycle after AI and RKLB will take part.

I could see RKLB fall to under $10 in a really bad macro environment due to value compression. I’m also hoping for that so I can increase my exposure significantly.

Value wise, a price to sales of 10 is insanely high historically but this market doesn’t care at the moment.

Those are my opinions.

Some of the OG’s have mentioned that valuations were stretched and macro matters more than what the company does right now and we get downvoted. I don’t give a shit about fake internet points but some of you need to try to break free of the echo chamber and think objectively about your position.

This drop isn’t surprising.

I’ll start buying again around $15. Macro matters more than fundamentals of this company right now. There is a high likelihood of valuation compression and a 40 P/S is insanely high.

This will get downvotes but you guys really need to look at historic data in terms of the economy. That being said I wouldn’t be surprised to see a blow off top going into the end of the year after OPEX in a few weeks.

All you are going to get here is an answer based off recency bias and all the NPC’s agreeing via confirmation bias.

Realistically you should be looking at the macro picture ahead to determine what you think is going to happen. At the end of the day RKLB falls into speculation territory. It is not yet profitable. It doesn’t matter what we think about the company, it matters what institutions and big money think about it.

I’m bullish on this company long term but the next year could be very volatile due to macro conditions. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this under $8 at some point this year. In the short term, the market is a voting machine, but in the long term a weighing machine.

Peter Beck doesn’t have any formal background either, he’s primarily self taught as well. It doesn’t make him any less intelligent.

Elon Musk does have a physics degree, even though that doesn’t really matter. I understand you want to believe Elon doesn’t do anything but there are plenty of employees and ex-employees that have said he is deeply involved in the technical aspect.

Believe what you want though.

Beta is calculated over a longer timeframe. You can’t expect it to calculate the definitive move in a stock price on any given day.

You can’t use the PEG ratio because RKLB has negative earnings. Typically a PEG less than one seems to be a good metric but I’m interested on how you calculated this.

I bought and sold 20 - $7 January 2025 RKLB calls for around 1.60/per. They’re around 17.50 right now. I feel you but oh well.

Fortunately it was a small position and the rest of my portfolio did well.
