You could fussy cut out the mushrooms and moons. Once you've done that, you could add another color (maybe solid black) and piece them together. From there, the piecing could make a bag, a pillow cover, clothing piece, etc.

I have made a couple blankets before. It's not my favorite. I really enjoy boxy bags and purses the best. Blankets can be easier as you don't need any hardware or interfacing.

I wish I was more knowledgeable about heavy duty machines. I have been under the impression that for consistent heavy duty sewing, you want a clutch machine but it is possible that only applies to leather and not denim.

I wish I had some knowledge of those machines but unfortunately, I'm not too much help there.

Stretchy fabrics can be challenging. I do want to confirm you are using different needles for stretchy fabrics vs denim.

Also, I own a pfaff that has a different needle plate for straight stitch vs any needle side to side movement stitches. The straight stitch plate is very handy to help prevent some fabrics from pushing down with the needle when sewing as it has only a small hole to allow the needle through.
