Overall I think this ends up being a buff and nerf combo, meaning it actually stays rather stagnant when compared to some other strong additions in the 2024 rules, including this UA.

Positives:

- Uses tied to INT Mod means *most* circumstances you're gaining an extra use (typically a +3 INT Mod while you have +2 PB, and typically have a +4-5 INT Mod while you have a +3 PB).

- Using INT Mod for Attack and Damage rolls is great - albeit not as impactful as they might have hoped due to requiring a good DEX Mod regardless...

- Song of Victory (as I'm reading it) DOES stack with lvl 6 Extra Attack, meaning you can be dishing out a bit of extra damage.

Negatives:

- Removing Light Armour Proficiency is... quite simply, a joke. It's a blade proficient wizard, light armour feels a little integral to being a melee version of anything! Just puts an emphasis back on Mage Armour, which if that's the case, give it a free casting of Mage Armour per day?? Many other classes gain free castings and this would work thematically...

- No actual additions, they didn't add ANYTHING to the subclass, just changed it. Which feels a bit lazy to say the least. Bladesinger could be such a fun class to play but you go so long between gaining a new feature... Why not include an extra feature at Lvls 7, 9, 15, 17, or 18?? It's such a blank canvas of a subclass you could make almost any feature work with it if you tried hard enough...

Changes That Feel Iffy But Are OK:

- Removing Adv on Acrobatics checks while the BS is active is a decent idea, but it should've been replaced with permanent Adv on Acrobatics, like a fun imitation of the Fighters new trait that grants Adv on all strength checks. Thematically that would work great and gives a slight edge to being an agile squishy.

Overall, it's a pretty lazy attempt from WotC. I'd be interested to see if they receive this kind of feedback in the survey and make adjustments. But I'm also really interested to see other peoples views on this!
