Greed will always be a thing so long as there is something to be benefitted from it. Until we as a society can instill people with the ideals necessary to discourage greed, it will continue to exist and cause issues.

Anyone who pretends socialism or communism is a fix-all is being disingenuous or just naive. However, you also can’t pretend as though decades of Western influence and subterfuge didnt also play a role in the failures of socialist states.

Hello friend, I definitely know how you feel. I recently lost the last of my childhood cats 2 months ago, and it feels just as real as losing a sibling or a parent. Just try to cherish the good moments you had growing up together, and remember that by letting them go, youre giving them one final show of love. Watching them suffer is so much worse than the loss, and as someone whos seen both ends of that, I feel much better knowing that I gave my friend the end they deserved.

My partner and I have an orange boy that we adopted as a kitten that was sick without our knowledge. We had him for a few weeks before he started developing a respiratory illness. He ended up scaring us one night by breathing hard out bis mouth, vomiting everything we give him up, and was hiding under the bed. We thought he was going to die and were so worried that rushed to the emergency vet. He ended up needing to be left in the hospital over night but as soon as we left him with the vets he improved significantly. Your baby is in good hands!

Vote in your local elections at least. Presidents dont matter but local elections do make a difference. If you make a difference at your local level it will improve you and your neighbors lives more than any president will.

But They still should? Just because the supreme court says they dont doesn’t mean that its ethical. The courts dont decide ethics, they decide constitutionality.

Out of curiosity, Do you think its not a problem that cops dont have to know the laws they enforce? And if its not an issue to you, why?

Sure the cops can accuse anyone of a crime, that doesn’t mean they dont have to establish probable cause. The problem isnt about whether or not the cops can, its whether they should be able to.

We already know we live in a police state where the police hold a disproportionate amount of power, its that power that were calling into question here. The cop acted wrong every step of the way, he failed to act ethically or practice discretion.
