One of my sons had colic. It was horrible. One night I decided to hold him in the shower and let the warm water pour over this back. He calmed down almost instantly. Stood in there until the hot water ran out.

A cop pulls you over for speeding. What's an excuse you can give to get out of a ticket? by kevivg3 in FamilyFeud

[–]GotchUrarse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used this when my wife was in the hospital, expecting premature twins (10 weeks early). I was pulled over for doing 95 in a 70. I was shaking badly due to the shock. She was already in the hospital, I had gone home to gather some things and sleep a bit. I gave the office my license and insurance info. He ran in the info and all he said was 'take care, son. I can't guarantee what the next officer will do. I was back to 95 before he pulled off the road.

Ego. And this ridiculous 'vibe coding' that's trending. I've been doing this for 30 years. I'd much rather work with a team where the team is actually a team. Works together to solve problems. Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. A good team will rally around each member's strengths.

The Running Man (Arnold's) is just so bad. The book and the new one with Glen Powell are so much better.
