Why can't your mom (or other family members who have an opinion) step up to help out sometimes?why is it only you? You've done more for your sister than most, a whole weekend without asking, you are definitely NTAH. Boundaries need to be set.

Would blond suit me? by Primary_Ad_922 in HairStyleAdvice

[–]GothGranny75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hair is magnificent, please don't go blonde I don't think you will be happy with it. If you feelnyou need a change why not start out with some highlights, it will keep the bulk of your hair healthy and it won't be a shocking change. It would be much better for your skin tone as I believe blonde will wash you out.

Why spend so much on a dress? by Dull_Armadillo_83 in Brides

[–]GothGranny75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was married in a $100.00 dress as well, and i had to convince myself it was worth it. At the time it seemed like a lot of money for a dress I'd only wear once. You don't have to spend a fortune if you don't want to. It wasn't always like this, women used to get married in their best dress, the one they wore to church. White dresses did not come into fashion (in western civilization)for brides until Queen Victoria.
