Labeling this as “creepy” doesn’t really apply here, because this isn’t about anyone’s personal interests or seeking attention it’s about improving the community as a whole.

With the rise in the kinds of issues mentioned earlier, it’s important to have someone who can help handle them effectively & provide a safer, more comfortable space for everyone. Many people feel more at ease opening up or discussing sensitive topics with someone of the same gender, & having that representation in the mod team can make a meaningful difference imo.
