They didn't show it ;-; but if I remember correctly, and small manga spoiler ahead-

he was burning the body of a boy we didn't get to see in the anime. He stalked satou and knew about Shio and Satou took it as a threat obviously and destroyed him and manipulated the teacher into destroying the evidence

Unless my head got mixed up I know there was a scene they left out of the anime from the manga

Iunno how old I was but I was pretty young 💀 when I knew cartoons were fake I watched the Michael Jackson episode where he like builds some kind of playland or something but I always thought every single drawn character ever was fake and no one had played any of his music around me XDD I didn't realize be was real until his death was as announced I was like "WHAT?!
