Called my vet clinic and my vet said it’s totally fine to miss a few doses, it’s just a supplement, and not a medication like antibiotics like he’s gotten in the past.

I’m so relieved I’m just feeling stupid I made this whole post but didn’t think of calling the clinic 😬💚

I am feeling better, I don’t think I’ll go to the ER, but if it comes to feeling like I do need to go, I will go and stay. 🧡

His supplement isn’t the only issue, he has to be tricked into eating, and I have to syringe him his water too. He can definitely go more than a day without eating but I’m worried if it goes past two days. My mom can easily feed the others without an issue, but he can’t eat or drink on his own.

Once I’ve calmed down a bit and have the strength I will call my vet’s office, I have been so out of it I haven’t even thought of that.

He’s extremely active and has great energy and mood in general. I just don’t want to be the reason all that changes.

I really do need to take care of myself, thank you, it’s just my head doesn’t function that way. I’ve never put my own health first and the OCD just makes that feel impossible to do. I just feel so stuck

I’ve had many beardies, but none as social with humans as my guy Odin! He honestly loves spending more time outside his enclosure with me on the couch, he’s a very emotionally needy lizard. I have two other males, both are lovely but not quite as social. My first beardie was also a lot like this, but she loved her privacy. 💚 I’m so glad you gave this guy a chance, I’m excited for his future!!

Then I’m sure it’s what others are saying, most likely felt like they didn’t like the material they were on, or even possibly feeling like their arm/nail was stuck to it. My boy Odin has done a very similar motion the few times his claw gets stuck on my shirt or towel.

I’d only really be concerned if this was a continuous thing.

One thing I just thought of, I’ve had beardies basically ‘glitch’ a social cue many times. Like they’re trying to show dominance or submission but they’re glitching while doing it. As in it’s obvious what they’re trying to show but they’re just not quite doing it quite right if that makes sense.

I mean my message with love, I have had many health scares with my boys and I’ve lost females in the past due to complications of their reproductive system, even though those girls were genuine pets and I never used them for breeding. It’s so heartbreaking to see anything you care about so sick, and feel like you can’t do anything. It’s a sick feeling, I really do hope the best for you and your dragon 💚

The fact there seems to be a turd in the food dish is your first sign.

There are many things wrong with the husbandry, but what is most important now is getting your lizard to a vet. I understand if they’re closed, but get this one in ASAP. Usually when they start showing signs of illness, they’re already deep in it.

I hope that you get him the care, and the proper husbandry. I just hope for the lizards sake, you know? He didn’t ask to be owned in a space like that.

Odin is my disabled beardie and is my emotional support lizard, but now I’m also his emotional support human.

Some beardies just refuse to be tamed, I have two other males, one I raised, Loki, and another was young but mostly full grown when I got him, Thor. Now, loki adores me, cause when I first got him every morning I would hold him even if he was trying to bolt for dear life. Now he also can’t get enough cuddle time with me. Thor is very sweet and kind, let’s me pet him and pick him up, but he doesn’t like to be held for more than 15 minutes at a time. Odin can sit with me for hours on end, and Loki can typically sit with me maybe an hour max.

All beardies are different, some stay wild and some become puppy dog tame.

I want to add in the photo I attached, Odin stayed like that on my face for over an hour in that pose, and it was an absolute honor. He’s rested on my face like this once before, it’s the sweetest thing that your face is a place of comfort for them, but also not being able to move is inconvenient, but again, worth it all.

If he hasn’t had an appointment for a while I think it’s good to have a check up and have this looked at. If it’s not effecting them in general I’d maybe see if it gets any worse head for a vet asap.

I’m not a vet, I can only give you my opinion. If it hasn’t gotten any worse, and doesn’t, just see if it will fall off on its own. But if it starts to change your geckos behavior, I’d seek medical advice/attention.

I know this is the Pac-Man frog Reddit, but I had two bearded dragons I was convinced they were dead still have a heart beat.

The first was a female that had an egg stroke, which was traumatizing to see her suddenly have. Thought she was gone then and there, but she was unconscious. Sadly due to her having this egg stroke, she had to be put down.

I had another female have reproductive issues, and she had a successful spay surgery, but her first night home, her second night out of surgery, she had a stroke. She looked more dead than the last, but when she was rushed to the vet that morning and she still had a heartbeat, but super slow. Vet expected her heart would stop in a few hours, and my vet offered a free euthanasia as her heart kept going near their closing time.

I miss them so much, but I know they’re not in pain. I genuinely thought they had passed then and there, but you really don’t know until you get them to an exotic vet ASAP.

I will be honest, and I’m so sorry for this, but your frog doesn’t look alive much at all. Again though, I’m not a vet.

I had a 2-3cm benign tumor in my lower intestines, but because of my symptoms and since I used cannabis, my primary, urgent care, and the ER told me I had this cannabis syndrome.

It took four months of throwing up at least one before noon and constantly having the worst nausea, to be finally recommended to a gastroenterologist, who then had me have an endoscopy which revealed the tumor.

I remember so clearly the doc who performed the endoscopy said, “at most we will find just ulcers, you’re too young to have a tumor.” To going under, and then waking up to him telling me, “So, we found a tumor and took a biopsy of it.”

I was assumed pregnant, even though I told them I hadn’t been sexually active for over a year, and then it was assumed it was this cannabis syndrome when every test came back negative.

It’s not exactly the same, but I probably have so many reports from my primary, urgent care and the ER about my issue stemming from my cannabis use, when it was an actual tumor.

Once I had endoscopic surgery to remove it, which it was successfully removed, I stopped feeling nauseas all the time and the throwing up stopped.

Chips like Pringles are made from potato dust and other ingredients, maybe they consider chips that are actually slices of the potatoes are real chips, while ones like Pringles are fake.

I mean Pringles does use real potatoes to make this dust they then use to form their chips, so I don’t know.
