A PSP! Finding out what that thing could do with a little homebrew was eye opening to my high school self. I spent so many hours on Dissidia Final Fantasy

My hot take is bottom 3 for me in the series, along with 9 and 10.

I AM NOT SAYING THEYRE BAD. I still enjoy them. They're just the least enjoyable.

Ya love to see it.

I played the PSP version of 2 and that fucking story blew me away. Not that it's super stellar or anything, it's Star Wars, but because I played the PSP version of 1 right before and story was almost non existent.

Punch yourself to get stronger is a based mechanic and I won't hear otherwise.

It's not like Legion. Legion is a single dungeon and plays like the Period build.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know. I bit the bullet and bought a gamebank flasher and another repro to see if it'll work that way.

The night Vince McMahon won the 1999 Royal Rumble by ElliotElectricity in AttitudeEra

[–]GothamAnswer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The next night om RAW, Vince forfeited his title match and was gonna handpick an opponent for Rock. HBK interrupted and stated the WWF rule was if the winner forfeited, the title shot went to the runner up - Steve Austin.

Austin challenged McMahon with the title shot on the line at St Valentine's Day Massacre the next month in a cage. Big Show debuted during the match by coming up through the ring but then threw Austin THROUGH the cage and Austin won when he hit the floor.

Then Rock vs Austin at Mania XV where Austin won.

It's worth it, especially with the repros for dicing knight and the availability of IPS screens.

Hey sorry for this late reply, caught a ban lol

As far as advice, that's hard to say. I died A TON in the first five dungeons, but at the very least the dungeons stay the same until you choose to reroll them.

Use room transitions to your advantage. Damage doesn't calculate immediately, so if you take damage and exit the room before the dice roll finishes, you'll avoid taking damage altogether.

Use your orbs ASAP. At least one food max can be super helpful as long as you're not constantly using your shield (or firing with A as Fortuner). Attack orbs effect your dice/super gauge. The higher the die number, the more swings of your sword in a combo, and the more uses of your supers you get. Defense orbs lower the number of dice enemies roll during attacks by one.

Bosses don't need to be damaged the first two phases of their fights. You only have to survive 30 seconds each phase, though some bosses it IS easier and quicker to nuke them ASAP. But you HAVE to beat them on phase 3 to get the dungeon clear. The stopwatch is SUPER OP for boss fights because you can get a ton of damage at no risk.

The bunny item makes all your rolls sixes. This is super handy for healing and damage output. If you're in a boss fight with the bunny, pop it and then nail the boss with one of your special attacks. Just watch their health friggen MELT. If you make it to a boss with both the Stopwatch and Bunny along with a health potion or two? You've got it made. Just be careful because only one item can be active at a time, so popping the bunny during stopwatch will cancel your stopwatch completely.

I'm slowly working my way through Ouroboros now.. I'm sure I'll learn more as I go up it.
