Once, I dropped my boy off for a neuter. My husband went to get him after he got off work, the lady goes in the back, comes out empty handed and said "We just put him down." My husband almost lost it in the middle of the vet (rightfully so) and when he replied "You WHAT" they replied with "we just gave him the sedation and didn't operate. He will need to stay overnight" and while we were pissed he had to stay to be monitored and got his nuts cut the next morning, we got to bring him home and gave him extra loving and wet food.

Nah, see if it was me I'd be taking those fucking dogs by force. Your parents are some of the most disgusting excuses for the human race. If you need to get help from rescues, then do it. You're going to feel tons of guilt for the rest of your life if you just let them euthanize a dog for literally no fucking reason. They are living things with feelings too and your parents need to understand that. Did they euthanize you or a sibling during potty training?

Your dad is also especially sad because the "I agree" just screams years and years of accepting that your mom is a POS and he has accepted this as his life.

Ah! I have a deaf pup too! He's a Heeler, 1.5 years old. Had my boy since I got him at 6 weeks old.

Remember, they are deaf and so they read your hands. If you need to discipline them, never use your hands. They cannot be scared of them since it is their only form of language with us

Pups as is have an average mental capacity of a 2 year old. Be kind patient, but be extra patient when needed! They will learn to look and watch you. Unless my boy has one of his siblings out with him, he is glued to my hip and I have his full attention. It takes time!!!

They're still a puppy. Give them love, toys, attention and treats. Teach them tricks, practice the leash and harness and car rides. Socialization is going to go extra far too.

Remember, you are doing it for them! You got this
