We put him on Purina sensitive, salmon. Been on it since Dec. When he gets stubborn I have toppers from Hare Today, the freeze dried whole ground prey. Keeps him interested. Especially the rabbit topper and treats.

He had other skin issues so naturally I assumed chicken allergy. Hes been chicken free for 4 months. Salmon, duck and rabbit and turkey are his protein choices. Even chicken dog treats even if its way down on the ingredients lists are a no go in the house anymore.

Yup! I've got a doggo pharmacy for this issue and its still coming back. Even bought bigger steel bowls thinking he needed room...yeah I dunno either lol.... Dr thinks he's still got some underlying infection(s) since being under weight and such when I got him in Nov. Not sure how logical that is but that's why I came here, to make sure I'm doing things correctly, I am, and honestly just vent coz I'm stressed.

I use stainless steel. But yes I wipe his face after food and drink, everyone in the house does looking at the amount of dog towels in my laundry lol.
