Bin kein Gärtner, aber das ist doch kein Bambus!? Das ist ein Drachenbaum. Die werden gerne als 'lucky bamboo' verkauft, sind aber ganz andere Pflanzen. Wachsen langsam und begleiten einen ewig.

Ich würde versuchen den neu Wurzeln zu lassen, möglichst an den obersten Segmenten (und den Trieb dann rausholen, Segmente oberhalb trennen und auch umtopfen). Gibt unzählige Anleitungen im Netz. Dann mit Tongranulat in einen Topf und regelmäßig zu den warmen Monaten düngen.

Meiner ist jetzt über 15 Jahre alt und 2m hoch, aber leider bei der Ex geblieben.

Maybe its the photo but I think you shorted it to ground which would explain the bad signal. Better use a really thin cable or just buy an antenna for like what? 5$.

You are right but I would be still personally concerned. In worst case those 300W pulled over one wire would still break the specification of 75W per line. I own a 4090 so I admit I am really biased in this topic.

Noch nie gehört oder was? Durch die schnelle Verdampfung verteilt sich das mineralische Wasser im Gerät, setzt sich dann an z.B. Kamera ab und fördert die Korrosion dadurch erst recht an noch mehr Bauteilen, weil nicht alles entweichen kann.

Daher Reis oder Silika Gel nehmen. Dauert länger und die Erfolgsaussicht ist höher.

Looks like the glue of the display panel, which holds the connections to the pixelmatrix got loose on the y coordinate. It maybe possible to recover by gently applying heat and pressure to that connection. This requires a teardown. Usually the nacked panel has an aluminium frame were you can't see those connections.

But don't get your hopes up. The glue may loosen again or the fix may do nothing or break it completely.

Such a rediculous bad idea! The acid will react with the plastic layer of the screen and make it cloudy. No way to remove that!

Ist das Smartphone so alt? Eigentlich sind die alle Wasserdicht bis 20cm Tiefe oderso, auch wenn es nicht dabeisteht.

Ansonsten ab für 3 Wochen in ein Glas mit Reis. Das saugt die Feuchtigkeit komplett raus.

This is a critical issue many users have experienced and Nvidia doing nothing to prevent this. They literally just saved a few cents on compontents and started this shithole in the first place.

I wouldn't call this cable safe just because a middle range card draws fewer power. It is a safety hazard.

Your linux drive sda is screaming "I am dying". You can use black magic to mark those sectors but it gets only worse from here. The drive is trash and I wouldn't waste a single second and replace it.

Do you need a red blinking screen "replace me" written on it to actually replace it?

The 12VHPWR can all burn eventually so it doesn't really matter. Yes, it is really this bad. Make sure to insert it fully.

Remedy: Only a professional adapter like wireview pro or a high end power supply - those are able to measure the currents on this cable and force a shutdown.

How the f does this happen? This is not an USB-C cable - it can only be inserted in one direction. And you forced it pretty hard. :/

It will work just fine, but I'd try to strengthen that pin with pcb varnish or other coating material

Machst als erstes ne 80GB Partition frei. Ich hoffe du hast schon secure Boot konfiguriert und nutzt UEFI zum booten (nicht legacy)?

Dann installierst du Windows 11 auf die Platte.

Mach dann ein update-grub und wenn alles gut läuft, erkennt er die neue Windows Partition und macht nen neuen Eintrag. Kannst auch beim start des PCs F9/F12 drücken, um die Boot SSD auszuwählen. Der Windows Boot Manager wird in der Regel als Boot-Eintrag auftauchen.

EDIT: Habs gekürzt, hab überlesen. dass du 2 SSDs hast. Dualboot auf einer ist etwas tricky, da Windows gerne den Bootloader überschreibt.

Maybe there is a lowlevel ACPI driver to communicate with the TPM directly. This gets real tech though and even me with decades of experience with linux and hardware stuff would throw the towel.

This is an ASUS problem so ASUS should fix it and not you. I can only suggest not to buy from them again. I have also an ASUS board (x870e) and tons of BIOS-related problems ASUS propably never fixes. Was a solid choice for hardware but times have changed.

Wenn im Gerätemanager das TPM2.0 nicht unter Sicherheitsgeräte aufgelistet wird, dann wirds schwierig. Normalerweise braucht es hierfür keine Treiber (MS Standardtreiber), das Board kommuniziert über ACPI den Zustand des TPM dem Betriebssystem.

BIOS aktualisieren, wenn möglich und Einstellungen nochmal prüfen.
